Probably just going to be Gosiewski to Hampton for me

Think the extra CTR option is better than holding as loop until Verrills arrives

Getting on Chad and his Cleary level km was such an obvious choice in hindsight. Not sure how I didn't consider that no-brainer.

We could potentially see that Riki's time is up, especially with Panthers (Luai and Kikau), Eels (Moses and Ipap/Matterson), Titans (DFifita) up against him the next three weeks . Could easily score a 23 and peak around the $500K mark and hover there in the short to medium term future. Could be my downgrade option for a BSmith upgrade to Haas. Not sure.

He scored 70 against the Titans three weeks ago!

I've been playing fantasy for 7-8 years (never finished top 10,000), and i never realised how much luck is involved, especially near the top of the rankings. One injury and your season is pretty much over. Here's hoping my team stays relatively injury-free this year

Also, thanks to everyone on this forum (esp. the regulars) for the discussion that takes place here, i'd be lying if i said that you guys aren't the reason that i'm doing well this year Smile Good luck for next week!

    That's an awesome result.

I have to say, that while luck is a factor (especially early on), it usually evens out across a season.
Pretty much everyone will have things that were unexpected good luck, and minor disasters as well.

I personally think that if you make the top 100 by season end, it's more likely you're a good player rather than just good luck.

I don't see how matchups against his opposite edge opponent are relevant.

I think he can score a 23, but could also bust out a 70 at some point.

In fact he got 70 last time he played the Titans. And 56 in 48 mins off the bench vs Panthers last season.

1062 for the round and 1374 overall. Bench scored 262
Wish Bennett would stop giving Cook an early mark though
Only thing for this week might be moving on Fuimaono if a good cheap option comes up

In answer to my Centre trade-in question last week:

    Peachey $544k - 69 points
    Graham $472k - 63 points
    Bird $365k - 63 points

I guess Bird was the best option (on the basis of a single week - that's how we decide, right?)

Are there any requests for players people would like me to bless this week?

Would you be happy to run Roberts/Niu with no CTR or WFB cover, or be looking to bring someone in? Plan was always to drop Niu down to EMG but feels a bit early to be shoring up CTR.

Also need to decide if I have run out of patience with the Cheese so opinions on that also welcome.

Rookie numbers. I'm a mighty 4914! At rank 3291 haha jk

Top 10 ranked are averaging 50-70 more than me. Not sure I can match that. Shows how important your starting team is.

Not sure how to treat this week. Two weeks in the 1000's, no injuries, no suspensions (i think), banked 3 trades already.

Not a great round for me. Tino, Roberts, Riki the main issues.

    Round: 997

I'm just saying that whilst people are talking about Leniu and Liddle as trade out options, some traded Leniu out last week, then Riki is a candidate as a trade also given he is now around $500k and I don't see him as greater than a 44 average (Probably peaks at $550K so will stagnate now unless he jags another large score). Panthers, Eels (23) and Titans (70) to come in next 3. We could see Oates into the squad this week for Ben Te'o and had it not been for Te'o's injury his scored would have been a little lower. Can see him maybe not seeing the 80 in the coming weeks.

Oates wont be playing in the forwards. He gave up on that already. He might come in for Mead though

Bullemor the likely one to come in, or kennedy. Probably both as something needs to change.

Why did he only get 66 minutes on the weekend?? Kevvy has no idea about his rotations!!

The bloke has just re-signed with the club for four more years, came out and pledged his dedication to the Broncos and is probably one of only 2-3 players on their team who can break 3-4 tackles and score a 50 metre try... You would think he needs to be on for 80 minutes a game.

I didn't see a whole lot of the game, so can't really comment on his effort. Scores of 37 and 38 in the two weeks prior 'without really doing anything' though... its a frustrating one to be served up an 8 while other blokes in similar range score 50+

Averillo scoring 60+ in NPR's and the Dogs play the Cowboys next Sunday afternoon. I'll probably just chance my arm on Averillo. That still leaves me playing Niu at the other ctr against the Panthers though.. yuck. I'm starting to think Bird is the word..

I probably need to do something with Brandon Smith this week. Two weeks in a row he's played low mins due to caution and then illness, but it leaves me in a tricky spot on who to move him to.

This. Doing something with Brandon and getting another centre (probs one of Bird/Hampton) this week is the priority.
