Teeth Eater wrote:Massive congrats to you chaps and the mass of massive scores this week. Well played.

Managed to stumble my way to 1003 in my FOG team so I'm pretty happy with that. 974 in my work H2H team and a nice win this week, despite fielding 16 players. So all nice things.

Hard not to get a tad bummed seeing the big scores here, but tracking along okay without Cleary and Teddy in my team/s. Still not sure when and how those guys find themselves into my team/s, but I'll see how it plays out.

TKO, Isaako and Matterson are my (slight) concerns, but none of them are demanding to be traded out immediately (could change when I see Isaako's BE tomorrow). Really need some clarity on the Matterson situation too, because although his exclusion hasn't hurt me yet, I can't be holding a dude who gets pulled from games after being confidently listed until an hour before kick off. More than happy for them to make sure he's in good health before he returns, just hate the silly games if that's what it was today.

Brooks is still worrying me too. Putting up nice scores, but looking pretty poor while he does it. Won't trade him out unless he tanks and drops cash, but he's a worry.

A bit off-subject, but anyone a little concerned about Brailey's scores from here on in with the Knights injury issues... especially Pearce, who he seemed to be gelling well with. Of course he's still going to score well, but rather than bouncing around with Crichton and Fifita, I was just going to start putting the C on Brailey from here on in, until I get Cleary. A little concerned, though, that the new make-up of the Knights team could affect his scores. Could be well out of line with those concerns, but they're there.

I don't think the Green/Mann combo for the Knights will be substantially different to or weaker than the Pearce/Mann combo they've been running so far. (After this week... Mann might miss a round with his HIA).

Brailey getting most of his points from making shedload of tackles and missing hardly any, plus occasional scoots when Klemmer/Saifiti/Watson put them on front foot. Neither of those things have anything to do with Pearce.

Ponga back in next couple of weeks too. Not sure what Knights fans are worrying about medium term.

1020 this week, did go slightly forward but still outside the top 10k lol.

Coin goats still making coin, just gotta be patient. In my case that means resisting paying the highest possible price for Papy. Might still chase Fifita, not sure.

Congrats to those who made huge scores ie most people here.

Didn’t get to see today’s game, had a long day at work.

I had a pretty good week scoring 1105 for the round. Could’ve been better if I played Alvaro or Uto over Leniu. I was happy with my Avo to Momo and L. Croker to Walker trades.

I think I’ll look to hold trades this week and bank 2 as I have double traded the first 3 weeks. If Roberts is sanctioned by the NRL for breaking Covid bubble protocols I’ll just play Niu for the week. I don’t have any pressing issues. I’m sticking with Leniu as well.

My rank was 4386 before the round and pending any overnight updates I’m up to 1626 overall so stoked with that.

The OTL podcast guy Byron shout out to him for scoring 1159 which was 10th for the round, and he’s gone up from a 2200ish rank to 159 on overall! He’s such a gun player.

Great, I'm sure that his 21 that he'll score as an 80min starter will get the cash gains started again.

Yeah, hoping you're right. I did think that in terms of what he does personally not much should change... just a bit worried change in personnel has some effect. But yeah, you're probably right. Just want to lock down a captain I can play each week in comfort, and he's looking most likely at the moment.

Nice one, mate. Good results. Yeah, that Byron chap at OTL seems to be an incredibly consistent Fantasy player over the few years I've been listening to the podcast. Always well up top.

I don't think Fog needs to be sold. I think he's still a keeper who plays round 13, would be nice to partner a Moses during that time.

    Fair call on Hoy though.

Giving up a guy who is not really in their plans to get their next FB to shadow RTS for five months seems like a good move to me.

If Kodi went down he'd be straight into the team.

He's the best prospect at the club right now, in a position where the starter is inconsistent AF and is coming off contract. He's the most game breaking prospect the Warriors have had in years. You can wait five months and have both.

1054 for the bludgers this week. stoked at my first 1k for the year. My rank stayed pretty much the same - 2819 > 2519; looks like you needed about 1100 to make a serious move.
Crickey there's some good teams in the forum - congratulations to everyone who smashed it.

Only trade this week looks like being Hoy to Momo - will probably need a centre for Roberts.
Thanks for the ride Sexy-Texy, it was a blast. Only picked up $80k, but we'll welcome you back if/when Ponga goes down for a season ending injury.

The Knights are gonna struggle for a couple of games until Green gets to match fitness, Mann being out a week will hurt us vs. Titans. I'm gutted for Pearce, the bloke deserves some good luck.

Just curious as to why you didn't start with Papi? What was your logic behind that decision. Did you load up on another position or something?

Loaded up on halves. Ended up with Moses and Munster instead of Papy and Fifita. Moses and Munster are performing pretty much how I expected them to, but monster games from Papy and Fifita are making it look like a poor decision

Is Moses that much of a rush in? He’s not getting the monster KM with Brown so his running game needs to dig him out most weeks, got +13 from what should of been a no try

Yeah I've got Tups as well... I called into the Talking League Podcast and asked that exact question so hopefully they'll give us their thoughts throughout the week.

My gut instinct is to trade him out. Like you said he plays round 13, and I'm not sure he's going to be a keeper all year. I'm thinking of using his 560k (or whatever he drops to) to upgrade to Fifita who I'm very much missing out on.

Just seemed like a cork mate. He played ~30 minutes of the game after it happened, so it's definitely not serious. Hoping he's back this week. If he's out I'll have to think about it.

Not sure why you would be looking at upgrading Turpin, looks like he has over a 100K left to make whilst providing 50+ scores off the bench.

Sorry just realised you are in about Sitili Tups haha. Dope
