    Yeah, this.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they simply play Smith at lock.
Fits the current mould, share the position with Finucane (who could move to prop)
60mins high impact would be perfect for him

Trend seems to be a workhorse tackling lock to take the brunt of the first 15-20mins, then either goes off or replaces a starting prop.
Boom you have Smith running at tired defence, look at what Watson/arrow have been doing

he is probably realising its more fun to go hard as fuck for 55-60 mins per game and run the ball more, than to try play 80 and have to get into dummy half on every other play. (i realise he hasnt reached 80 mins yet but Grant will play 80 no sweat)

also competing to win a comp every year.

Not at all assuming he continues to start. I'm bringing him in.

Haumole supposedly good to go by round 5. Siro is going to be more like round 7 or 8.

I think Schu could hold his spot over Gosi
Yeah Des isn't thinking "we must work out a way to keep Gos in the 13"

I haven't heard Connor Watson complaining about playing lock (rather than Hooker).

Funnily enough, Connor is only 89kg (5kg less than Brandon) and hasn't mentioned any need to be heavier? - I think that kid just loves playing...

Different types though. Watson tries to step around them while Smith just wants to go straight through them. Needs a bit more weight for that.

He's always been open to other positions though lol he's played Lock, Hooker, Fullback, 5/8 and super sub

I think my trades will be:
    Lam out - Schuster in
    NAS out - SOS in

    J. Brailey
    Crichton, Watson, Leniu
    D. Fifita, Riki
    Cleary (c), Schuster
    Niu, Roberts
    Tedesco, Pappy, Laurie

    Milford, Turpin, Liddle, SOS
    Alvaro, Moylan, Averillo, Simonsson

Thoughts? Leaves me $300k next week to do a big upgrade somewhere

Are Milford owners holding? I don't think I'll have too many issues so Milford I'm looking at. I may turn him into Walker and just have Schuster and Cleary in the halves. Was kinda fun watching the Milf though so could wait a week.

Hmm might have to focus on cash generation over Cleary. Seems like I'm a step behind, especially having Tino and Welch. Hurts not having Cleary though

I'm liking SOS as a pick up

Riding him until the wheels fall off. It's him, liddle, or turp for Moses in a couple weeks.

If I had him but not Schuster, I would potentially flick him. Not a keeper, and also not generating big cash.

Well done on holding trades so far! You'll have four more than most. i'd probably punt Croker before Milford because you never know with Milford while with Croker you kind of do.

Thanks mate. Made a mistake with Schuster, but managed to avoid Davey so happy enough. Good shout on Croker. Probably forces me to go with Walker as I'd be short for SOS or Schuster.

Still plenty of money to be made on Schuster. If he maintains his current average of 55 he'll make over $300k
Assuming he doesn't maintain that there is still plenty of cash on offer.

If SOS can maintain a 50+ average he'll probably make $300k too.

Walker you'd just be guessing at what he can make - it may or may not be more than Schuster/SOS, but he has the advantage of coming in at base price.

Other than a desire for CTR coverage I'd be happy to cut Averillo loose. He's not going to suddenly start averaging 40+ for an extended period, where as there are guys at/around that price who are going to make money unless they get injured.

Thanks for that. Yeah so definitely money there providing he can hold his spot. Thinking more like a 45 average for Schuster, and a 40 for SOS.

Coverage is the only reason I'm holding Averillo. Was tempted to pull the trigger and get in Momi or similar but a post from MS talked me out of it. Chasing points, locking in losses etc.

True mate, which was exactly my logic behind ditching Tino.

Yeah, with Tino, I definitely see him coming good, cutting down on his negatives, but for me, was looking for good scores and cash gen from the get go. He might bang out a couple of 50s and 60s in the next 8 weeks, but that's too late

I'm going Lam to Walker with plan to reassess Lam once he returns. Can always downgrade a peaked middie in 4-6 weeks and chase the cash if he looks to have that role
