What a crock, Marsh very unlucky. Given not out everyone getting ready for next ball then they see 2-3 replays and refsbchange mind and ask for review. Marsh should have been over there giving it to McCullum when he pressured the refs into going upstairs

What did I say about these postage stamp grounds effecting records. No disrespect to McCullum

Yep 75 partnership off 7 overs.
But to be fair to the Kiwi curators the old mark use to be 300 runs in a day and 7-13 wickets was a well prepared pitch.
Fair to say that 300 is more like 350 these days. So 420 with 11 wickets including the fastest century in the history of the game is a good pitch.

Hagley Field, unlike the rest of the NZ pitches, is actually not small at all. It looks like a great ground for a day at the cricket IMO. Obviously it wouldn't be used if the earthquake didn't happen a few years ago, but I really like it.
