Soft try but I always thought Opacic was underrated by Green. Eels could do worse than start him.

Agree. His fantasy stats aren't great either even if he's picked. Looks like coach was happy with 20min from Macca and he looks fine. Bird looks like he's trying not to do another ACL. Ramsey looks like a talent but seemed to be blowing a bit like a lot of the Dragons and that defence of Opacic was ordinary. Sims is miles ahead of everyone and it's obvious.

Taumalolo said Payten’s plan to reduce his game time would not only help his own game, but elevate the responsibility on young players coming through like Frank Molo.
“It doesn’t bother me, but I can go harder for shorter minutes and I’m happy with that,” he said.
“A bit more explosiveness rather than drag it out and save myself.”

You get an upvote for that. But I hate myself for laughing at it. Don't do it again please

Liked what I saw from Ramsey in attack in the first half.
Playing a reserve grade trial isn't enough to pick him but I had this to say in my 2021 planning and he has talent in spades

I will be looking out for a high base (lot of tackles defending next to a shit half, goal kicking or lots of work in yardage sets). Trust talent when you see it in the young guys, otherwise go with job security

Definitely better suited to centre or wing until he bulks up over next few years

Just trying to work out how beneficial it is to start in RD1 with a non-origin player over an origin one, so I made the following table for comparison. It includes Haas's suspension (3 games) and Ponga's injury (4 games) and I did an extra column for if origin players are rested for 2 games. Not sure how useful it is, but thought I'd share.

In defence I thought he was soft mate. Missed a few tackles he shouldn’t have.
Ford is back on just now!

@Holy Moly
Interesting stuff mate
Obviously a few drawbacks in that average includes whole season and not necessarily drawn from specific position and that average may decrease/increase for some but still awesome effort
What I draw from that is:
Teddy & Cleary still above the pack (and in Teddy's case still well above the pack even with 2 less games)
Bit tougher in MID/EDG with ???? around non-Origin guns & their mins (Harris, Lolo)
Koroisau is interesting, but still unsure if he'll provide any real upside on price to start season, but very good shout for byes
