I'm not overly confident in Tino, but if he can get 50+ mins a game he should be able to avg 50 points a game.
Not sure what role he'll be playing at the Titans, but I would expect him to do ok

I will be giving Tino a chance this year at this stage.

May that be a warning to all

Welcome back fam. If I have to burn 6 trades at centre due to injury again this season it will be my last. Was going to start with Latrell this year but have not seen any indication he is training the house down and it seems there are some juicier prospects i.e. Averillo this year.

Enjoy your last year of fantasy then.

A few interesting ones I haven't seen discussed too much so far.

Egan - don't particularly rate him as a player, but priced at 32.9 with an average of 46.6 in 60+ min games at hooker (ave 74 mins in those games). Overall ave of 40.8 at starting hooker. Drops down to 28 under 60 mins though. Brown said he wants him to be an 80 min hooker, so worth at least keeping an eye on if that role looks likely with Lawton out. Maybe a risk of Niko/Siro/Tevaga taking mins.

Hodgson - Priced at 37.4, longterm ave of 47.9 in 70+ mins at hooker. Potential for a slight uptick with strips included? Probably better value elsewhere at hooker, and a little risky coming back from injury.

Tevaga - Priced at 50.6, ave 60 in 50+ mins at lock. Potentially value there, but surely too many questions over mins at the Warriors?

Horse - Priced at 42, ave 50 in 50+ min games. Same as Tevaga, too many questions over mins at the Raiders?

Paseka - Priced at 36, ave 48 in 6 40+ min games. Probably doesn't get the mins with Aloia there right? Passes the eye test.

Fifita - Priced at 52, ave 59 in 80 min games at 2RF. Probably in a better attacking team this year and comes 100k cheaper than Crichton/Harris/Matterson. Some value there.

Tupounia - Priced at 36, ave 43.4 in 70+ mins at EDG, but his only two 50+ scores included tries. Some value potentially if he can take another step forward this season and feel more certain about his role with Cordner out. Would be risky.

Morgan - Priced at 38.5, ave of 49.2 in 80 min games at halfback post-Thurston. Is he fully fit?

Townsend - Priced at 33, averaged 47.5 in 6 games without SJ in 2019, in those games KM increased from 196 (overall season average) to 318. Hard to argue with that.

Hopoate - Even with Allan there, he's priced at 29.4, longterm ave 35 at CTR in 70+ min games, and only ever gone below 20 twice (19 & 18) playing at CTR. Not the most glamorous pick, but reliable and unlikely to put up a shocking score in a tricky position.

Shawn Blore one to keep an eye on. Early indication is, he's likely to get the start over Garner.

Nice list... there are so many players priced about 10 points below what we would expect of them, which makes for an interesting fantasy season

Obviously dependant on plenty of things, but I don't mind this as a first proper draft:

    CM9
    Lolo Ah Mau Lodge
    Matterson CHN
    Cleary Townsend
    Averillo Roberts
    Turbo Holmes Isaako

    Brailey Liddle Milf Watson

Riki Niu Gosiewski Cheap MID (344k or less)

I don't think trading in a WFB will help with CTR injuries, but when trouble hits, may as well try anything

Because there are so many great value cheaper players, you can afford lots of guns. So many guns play state of origin tho, how many origin players is too many?

Has anyone posted a list of viable cheapies or are we still speculating on the majority?

He could go better but he’s never gonna have massive run metres or a massive base, he relies on attacking plays. So he will probs still be up and down.

At a similar price I think I’d rather go with Tommy T and Holmes.

Be interesting to see whether David Fifita can keep avg around that 59 in 80mins, if so he’s a buy priced at 52.

Aloiai is replacing AFB. I can’t see him playing more minutes than AFB did so I think Paseka will play more minutes than he did last year. Whether that’s enough to make him a value pick is the real question.

Last year I owned Hopoate in draft and he was very ordinary. Relatively consistent but ordinary and often appeared uninterested. I have owned him previously and he’s been great. Perhaps last year was an anomaly.

What is the formula this year what is the magic number to work out what a player is priced at?

Eg if a player costs 610k how do you work it out? What is the number to divide it by?
