Gah, I had Bateman as #1 in my 2RF trade-in shortlist, and now I don't know whether I should care about the weather forecast or not

    Current order:
    1. Bateman
    2. Matto... don't like him, not sure whether Broncos good (attack stats) or bad (low tackles) matchup
    2. Crichton... as in I might punt on him if its a repeat of last week and he gets a start at 13, while hoping for the best R20
    4. Lolo... concerns about easing back in, if he plays at all. Easing back is probably still 55pts?
    5. Harris... safe/boring pick

Don't get me wrong... should still be good for a 50-60 easily. Just not my captain pick to go big.

I would expect Crichton is more likely to get Cordner's spot on the edge this week than 13.

I also didn't realise the Tigers signed Tamou.

Would love if the Warriors got him. AFB, Ah Mau, Murdoch-Masila, Evans isn't a bad middle rotation with a Harris/Katoa/Tevaga backrow. Murchie somewhere in the mix on recent form and JTB, Paasi, Frei, Afoa thereabouts as depth.

Just need a decent hooker and CHT to kick-on next year.

Are people steering clear of the C on Cleary coz he may get an early shower or wanting to go away from him as lot's will captain him? Feel like I've missed something here

For me it's because there is no marginal difference between finishing 500th or 800th. Captaining Cleary is a nice way to protect yourself from risk as most will captain him, but it caps your upside. But if you captain someone like Cook or DCE who score 100+ while Cleary goes off with a sore throat in the 2nd minute, you can make up huge ground

Do we think McInnes plays 80 again?

If I don’t captain Cleary my options are McInnes or Carrigan.

Matterson or Ponga would be gambles but probs not worth the risk given I’m just inside top 300.

yeh my thoughts are the same, can't see myself captaining Cleary. Need to make ground, so will just run the risk and hope an alternate option goes big..

Can't see why not. He's played 80 all but 2 games this year, and last week's was HIA effected.

Yep and he still scored 83 in 72mins.

If Burton drops out of the squad come Thursday Night I’ll probs Captain Cleary but if we hear anymore before that re Cleary getting a rest then McInnes could be a plan B as I said or Carrigan.

I don’t think I have the guts to put it on Ponga, too risky!

If I owned DCE or Cook I may have put it on them but I own neither of those guys.

He only didn't play 80 last week due to HIA. And scored 83 anyway. It's not in their plans to rest McInnes.

With Koro and Tamou out this week, Cleary you would think would be more likely to get a rest next week against the Dogs.

Just realised the Panthers play the Dogs next week, I’d say they’re almost certain to rest him next week if they’re gonna rest him.

So is the general consensus to trade out haas? I’ve got 2 trades left and am happy to waste one on haas to DCE. Would leave me to trade out Wallace and be able to get anyone at 601k most likely Brimson. Thoughts?

I think I've narrowed it down to trading Haas to Cook, Bateman or Moses. Leaning towards Cook. But I hate locking in a trade from Thursday, especially when it's for Haas. I like to see how the first few games play out and see late mail and see where things are at.

Do you recall how Cleary last scored when Koro was out?

Did it affect his scoring at all?

Haas to DCE I think is an excellent trade.
