The ones he mentioned, the only ones I don't have are Cook and Bateman.  I guess either of those should score the same as Cook.  But as I said that would now be with 4 trades and leave me with 3.  I think I'd like Haas for the last 4 weeks.  Tough.
I traded Haas to Moses, and now have enough in the bank to upgrade Siro to Twal. I can afford to wait on Twal until next week to see how he goes this week.
But basically getting rid of Haas gave me a chance to get 2 guns in for the run home

    Cheers.

Was facing the same dilemma. Went with Fotuaika because of a more secure role & hopefully a little more work with Arrow out. I really like Barnett but didn't want to take the risk of his role/minutes changing with so few trades.

Sounds like you're into some pretty cool gear. I actually really enjoyed the last Pretty Maids album (which funnily enough includes Laney on keys)... but the majority of my heart's in the 'Jump The Gun' to 'Anything worth doing' era. I enjoy all their albums (including and after 'Jump the gun' - not overly into the first two) but 'Spooked' is their finest hour, imo. Love that disc.

Chris Laney has had his hands in so many things... love the two solo albums, but mostly came into prominence for me with his production job on Crazy Lixx's 'New Religion.'

Anyway, good gear. Good to know folk are out there.

    ------------------------------------------------------------

Now, who's keeping Pearce? Am I being a dickhead trading him out for Reynolds? Is it too sideways? I don't think it is, but why have I these doubts?

Crazy Lixx are a very cool band. Generic, but great songwriting. I favour the self titled actually, and Ruff Justice was solid too. I still need to check the latest one.

I have a couple of the old Pretty Maids albums. Future World is classic IMO, but never delved heavilty into them. I like the heavier later stuff. I'll have to give the newest one another chance. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it.

I'd love to dump Pearce but I don't think it will be able to happen. Pearce to Reynolds does seem quite sideways mate, but Reynolds I think will score more points over the next six weeks compared to Pearce.

That's the thing isn't it. Depends if you are prepared to run the last month Haasless or not.

Indeed.  But Bromwich will take some of those minutes back you'd think.

I know but with KBrom and Bsmith out who knows? Would be nice if he got some mins but probs won’t happen. Needs to move from the Storm so we can hype him up in pre season only to have him disappoint 😃

On nrl physio these were the Storm players unlikely to play next week:
Vunivalu, Finucane, K-Brom, B. Smith, Munster, Jacks, Kamimakica, Momirovski, Max King, NAS & J-Brom.
The Storm are hoping SC9 & Hughes will be back next week.

Saw on the sharks forum that Johnson is in serious doubt to play
Trindall on standby and Moylan to apparently kick goals regardless
Probably effects his KM from long kicking as well you would imagine

Making preparations for a trade I think as these injuries are bound to linger.
Wait a week or 2 and lose points and limit trade options
Luckily it’s a 6pm game so will know at 5pm

With 738k to spend thinking Taukeiaho

    Update

Sharks’ talisman Shaun Johnson is expected to be passed fit despite a late fitness test on his groin.

Fuck what a night. I said from the start we would lose but thought we would at least get on the board... not sure if it was Eels defence or just Storms lack of structure and 5th tackle plays. Everyone wanting to score a try every set rather than setting up for the repeat. Oh well, gotta lose sometimes! Next week should have Hughes, CS9 and hopefully Munster back. Should win all games in the run home.

Bateman over Matterson looking like the wrong play at the moment but Bateman still to play so won't roost in the henshed yet.

I have a decent showing tonight.

Api 60, Carrigan 55, Fifita 60, Cleary 65, Lomax 40, Crichton 40, Herbie in the loop.

320+ would be great from this mob... currently sitting 2/116 which is a decent start.

I keep going back to Ofa for price and DPP as my one trade this week. Someone on Broncoshq reckons he should play 60 mins in the middle and has looked decent lately. Is this reasonable expectation and worth a punt??

I dont post on BHQ but i said the same thing here earlier in the week.

I think 40+ scores is a reasonable expectation..

I think it’s a testament to our bench depth to only go down 14 points to a full strength Parra side. We defended well enough and understandably our attack wasn’t there with all the injuries.

J Brom will be back next week after 1 game suspension

Turns out MRC went very lenient with NAS fined, both Storm crushers avoid charges and only Eels crusher by Niukore charged
