The best in that price range appears to Lawrie. JFH scoring been up and down lately. Lawrie is pretty nailed starting right (I think he is just playing devil's advocate)

My worry with Lawrie is impact of Vaughan returning from COVID isolation where his scores & mins are lower alongside Vaughan

    This is keeping Haas:
This week I will do Butcher > Teddy
    R15 I will take Herbie = 30, Cotric = 35, Sironen = 35, Lucy = 55.. = 155 + 65 from captaining Cleary = 220
    R16 I will take Sironen = 35 , Lucy = 55 and Cotric v Herbie = 35.. = 125 (cameron smith should be back, pushing Koro to bench and Herbie/Cotric into EMG) + 65 from captaining cleary = 190
    R17 Haas Back, so Carrigan moves to bench. So will take Haas = 70 x 4 (140 x 4 as he will be captain), Lucy = 55 x 4 and Cotric v Sironen = 35 x 4 … = 920 (bench will be Koro, Carrigan, Moses and Cotric v Sironen)

    Total Points = 1,220

Trading Haas and bringing back in
This week I would do Haas > Bateman and Butcher > Teddy (leaves 128K)
    R15 I will get Bateman = 60, Sironen = 35, Cotric v Herbie = 35, Lucy = 55 … = 185 + extra 65 from captaining Cleary = 250
    R16 Smith back pushes Koro to bench. Will get Bateman = 60 , Lucy = 55 and Cotric v Herbie = 35 … = 150 + 65 from cleary = 215
R17 I should just have enough for Lucy to Haas (leaving me 1 trade for the final 3 weeks) and I will get Haas = 140 x 4, Bateman = 60*4 and Cotric v Sironen = 35*4 (same bench as above) = 940

    Total Points = 1,405.

If I trade Haas and bring him back in it results in an extra 185 points and 1 less trade.

    Go with the 2nd option

Actually just looking at both again I've flipped to JFH. He's more boom factor. I could just get Mofo but would like the DPP

No doubt ofa has been poor, he has a motor at least.

He has actually played better in the last couple of weeks, just eye test wise. Has been having a bit more of a dig..

Thing is though, he'll need to play more, he'll need to pace himself. He'll need to play you'd think at least 40-45 minutes.

I'm going Haas to Moses this week (I need at least one Eel for the run home).
Which will give me Hunt, Fogarty, Moses, and Nikorima on the bench for this round.
Next week I'll probably get Twal in (for Siro) for team balance and cover. Hopefully Twal gets a start this week so I can see how he goes, has a high BE so should drop a little cash wise.

Who scores better from here on out? Cover is sorted so I can get anyone under 858k and was thinking one of these two. Thoughts?

Teddy said Angus and Tupou few weeks away still Monday before last game. Chookpen post after injury said 6-8 weeks which is looking on the money. Thought I read last week Cordner might not play for 6 weeks but could be imagining. Think he has serious issue with head knocks

In the words of Darryl Kerrigan "Tell him he's dreaming." If fantasy has taught me anything, is it's like superannuation. Past performances is no guarantee of future returns. It's 2020 now mate and he has an average of 26 with a PPM of .8 and never played more than 40 minutes a game all season.

1 trade for 3 weeks should surely be enough… I mean I know we say trades in hand are best but no point have 2-3 trades left at the end when I could possibly have extra points.

Gut is telling me to go for Haas in Haas out… Just praying to the footy gods there aren’t any other fires to put out.

Gone with the gut all year and it has gotten me into 72nd… highest I have ever been by a mile. So gut it is.

Ofa should play big mins over the next two weeks and probably beyond for the rest of the season. Should keep the starting spot with lodge, flegler and pangai all gone for the season.

With no haas this week and the make up of our bench, he will probably need to play 55-60 mins.

Biggest issue is his form, hes been pretty awful. It was back in 2018 that he was solid, in games over 50 mins he avgd 51 pts. Across the entire season he averaged 42.

If he could get close to 50 over the next two weeks he might nearly match whoever i trade haas to.. if they have quietish games. After that, hes a reasonable 18th man assuming he does keep that starting spot, but who else is there at the Broncos..

What that shitty website doesnt tell you is that the Broncos are shit and he may well play 60 mins but half of those will be spent standing under the posts.

    Thanks.

    Back to Haas out.

Yeah 3 games playing 80 this season. Sounds like NW had the <40 min games filter on Laughing

    Scores of 35, 41 and 36.

Looks better than Fermor anyway for the same price and Ofa with FR/SR.

Your right, I was looking at the wrong column. But seems the long minutes aren't his friend, he's scored 40 and below in those 3 games

That was in the second row though, he’s now back to a role in the middle which has potential for much better scores.

What are peoples thoughts on Wallace now he's back starting and Arrow is out for potentially the whole season?? He has more or less bottomed out and has proven a 40+ scorer in the past??

Not necessarily much better scores, since he won't be playing 80 in the FR.

Started 10 games at FR for an average of 35.7 in 45 mins.

All games over 40 mins, including some big minute LK games, he averages 43.2. Those games at LK are significant for the higher average though.

NW probably on the money with the 50 mins for 40 I think.

Snap, getting cold feet on my Haas trade out and tried an option that involved Aubs to Ofa. The only problem is I am keeping Pearce Very Happy which at the moment is 35-40 points a game

I can use two trades and go Pearce to Moses & then Aubs to Ofa which looks better

I really fancied Bateman though and with Haas staying the only way I can get him is to trade Pearce and Aubs to Bateman and Doorey Vomit (would have to play two of Doorey, Siro and HTF over the next two weeks)

    This is fun
