If Gerry Harvey offered you six trades but your overall rank was zeroed out would you take it?

I wouldn't, despite my current rank and only 2 trades remaining. I reckon there's ground to be made if you can squeeze out 17 most weeks.

Ive been playing for 8 or so years. It was when lockout happened at the start of the first game, you couldnt reverse changes, 650 was a great score and it was a 25 man squad.

Last year was my best season and finished just inside the top 150 and this year i am aiming for the top 10. If i make the top 10 at the end it will have a lot to do with picking up Lomax and Crichton early and avoiding a thousand centre trades.

Before the Haas news i was considering trade in Matterson and ? for Nicorima and HTF.
The current team - Currently 11th and with 6 trades left and 211 in the bank.
    Koro
    Haas Mofo
    Tevaga Lolo RFM
    Cleary Hunt
    Lomax Crighton
    Tedesco Pap Ponga

    Carrigan Starling McIness Munster
    Nicorima Talau HTF Nui

Big thanks to those that run the forum, the stats gurus, no worries for the eliminator, and all those who contribute regularly. I will try and contribute more in the future

If trading Haas out, is McInnes the obvious replacement? Or is there someone else that warrants more consideration? Api? Klemmer?

Suppose it depends what you need. I’d like for like points wise then yeah McInnes wouldn’t be far off a good swap.

If you don’t have any FRF cover at all then a Klemmer/Papa could fill the gap.

All very dependent on how many trades you have left I guess. Also the 2 week timeframe makes a decision tough. 3 weeks and he would have been gone for me I think

I remember when the Reverse Trades came out and I was all like "well that has ruined the game". Young (ish) and stupid (very).

So Telstra has only just decided that the Warriors being sponsored by Vodafone is a conflict of interest? Talk about kick us while we're down ffs

Cant imagine the game without being able to reverse trades, Usually have a dozen or so goes before i finalize the trade. Other than the drag and drop i think the fantasy game has moved on for the better.

I'm thinking of making a potential season defining move this week.
Looking at Haas > Cook and Randall > Hampton
That would leave me with 4 trades, 285k and this line up:

    McInnes
    MoFo Carrigan
    Taumalolo Yeo Butcher
    Cleary DCE
    Manu Crichton
    Teddy Ponga Papy

    Cook Fogarty RTS Starling

    Sironen Hampton HTF Niu

Plan would be to then go Fogarty > Haas in a single trade once he returns.

    Thoughts?

Do they realise there would have been no Telstra Premiership this year without the Warriors doing what they have done?

Would Hampton be a wise acquisition with Holmes allegedly due back soon? I'd assume Drinkfucker then returns to halves in place of Hampton?

Alright alright I can’t do it and rob everyone of this fine avatar, I’m just gonna ride the year and hope for better next season. Rank is just outside the 3000 now so fuck it. Funnily enough I’m almost inside the top 1000 for SuperCoach but oh well. Any ideas what to do with this mess? Everything is dependent on CS9 being named otherwise I’m gunna trade Haas cos what do I have to lose?

    3 trades 6k bank

    Cook
    Carrigan Taupau
    Yeo Taumalolo Matterson
    Hunt Cleary
    Talau Lomax
    HTF Teddy Ponga

    SJ
    Siro
    Clune

I have a couple trades still, I guess I just use them and YOLO the season. But I’m hesitant who to bring in because every trade I’ve made in the last 4-5 weeks winds up a bust the very week I bring them in (Crichton, Twal, Randall, Munster, Sironen, Fui).

5 weeks ago I was sitting 400th with 8 trades and mostly green dots
Now I’m 1400 with 2 trades and 8/9 red dots
    Cannot catch a break.

Thats it hey, the season can sneak up on u and boom!, knock yo ass down!! Keep battling mate.
