Cook, Yeo, Murray, Crichton, Luai all somewhat popular (and ARey might have been a trade in for a few this week) so I'm hoping those that overtook me have used more players and I can catch them up again.

I should have 17 barring a late out and Crichton was, on paper, my weakest player in that 17 so hopefully I'll make up ground in the long run.

To think my love of 8% elephant beer when I was young would lead me to become a Liverpool supporter because Carlsberg were their sponsor back then.

There's a bit of history isn't there, with Warriors beating the Storm or is that a false Rev memory ?

Since about probably 87/88 here. Don't really remember, was an ankle-biter back then!

Still happy for Pool and the die-hard fans.

We have famously beaten them in a couple of Finals game and there used to be a theory that we had a style of game that countered them well, but that has kind of faded the past few seasons.

Yeah That’s it, today very interesting. How do they react to all that's going on. And especially since imo the Storm definitely have come back a notch finally.

I always think its weird how teams manage to keep such things a secret. Do they go to great lengths to train in 'secret' or is there just not that much interest (from media and from fans)?

I'm used to Broncos up here where every training is basically 'open' - anyone can go down and watch (unless they're training at Suncorp which isn't very often), and obviously they're the only team in town.

Should be run like the NFL where they have to be 100% transparent on who's playing and who's injured due to the betting side of things. I suppose over here they just refund you if the player is out but still if NRL wants to promote the game of Fantasy they should push the coaches to be more transparent.

Michael Witt's try in the 2008 semi (just put the ball down you idiot!) is one of the few times I have jumped out of my chair as a neutral

After the salary cap scandal, the Storm came out and demolished us 40-6.

We've done OK against Melbourne at times but its not as often as everyone thinks.
Last year's ANZAC clash was a favourite. Gutting to go down by one point. Storm supporters in the stands were insufferable that night. They're not good winners in my experience.

Watching Sonny Fai score a try when we beat the Storm at Mt Smart was another favourite of mine. Fucking cold day in the South stand but totally worth it!
    RIP Sonny Sad

Haven't the Storm absolutely smashed the Warriors in the last 2-3 games. I'm expecting the same tonight.

Pfft 8% give me the 440ml cans of Special Brew at 12.5%!

Speaking of Football, I was born in Leeds. Premiership for us next year unless we throw it away like we have for the last 3 years. Supporting Leeds is harder than supporting the Warriors

I think the NFL is a little different in that essentially everyone plays every week.
If the NFL had to narrow down to a squad of 22 for each match they'd probably have the same issues.

Disclaimer - as a non gambler I don't have any issues with how it works now.

I was a mild Everton fan from about age 8 because I thought Andy Gray was the best. Saw them on tour in NZ in 87 aged 11 but there was barely any football on TV bar going to local club with my Dad to watch FA Cup finals in middle of the night. 94 Irish World Cup team had 4 Villa players so that was my PL team locked in
