In his only first grade start (r16 2017), Jamal Fogarty scored 23 fantasy points - with Ash Taylor as his halves partner, and the Titans won that day.

    Giddy up.

Sick of this shit, have been hit by every covid related loss, Fifita, Cleary, Wakeham, Watkins, Kennedy, all great picks, screwed by the break in season.

Yeah, that game was almost 3 years ago, and his QCup stats have been much better than that 23 would indicate.

If he could average over 30 he'd be a good buy. I am more concerned he'll get dropped too quickly to be useful

I posted them the other day but the new coach's comments were encouraging. He wanted Fogarty to be the organising half and Taylor to sit back and play what he sees. You'd hope (if you get fogarty) that means some kick metres.

Regardless, I'm still on the fence. Hard to be excited about a half in the Titans side.

Wakeham may be more popular in fantasy - but the big news here is really that Lachlan Lewis has been dropped. he wasn't great for the first 2 weeks, I suspect doggies fans will be happy with this news.

Frizell likely to stay 80 mins 2RF or Mary going to mess with his minutes and position? Nice price, no origin

If we had more trades I'm pretty sure I'll be on him.

As it is I am leaning towards, getting him, depending on what else happens with TLT (Grant Fogarty, a WFB and ?X? to be my trade ins)

As someone mentioned earlier, most teams have been training privately, there isn't a lot of news coming out, so I'm expecting a few surprises tomorrow.

Cogger averaged 49 at half back in 2019 (6 games, 2 tries) and in those games he averaged 435 kick metres.

Same year at 5/8 he averaged 36 (9 games, 1 try) and 257 kick metres.

Probably not too much to take out of the above, but Foran did fuck all kicking in 2019, averaged 130 metres per game for the season.

If Cogger continues to kick for 400metres a game he could be a very bold pick, but it is the Dogs and he could be dropped in two weeks time and all that.

EDIT: accidently included a game where he only played 20 mins.

Siebold confirms there is no rotation policy

“But we certainly don’t have a policy in place – I think was quoted saying there may be some rotation – and we may look at that on a case-by-case basis but there certainly won’t be any rotating of large groups of players."

Anyone keen on Flanno? 554K BE 30 and an avg of 43.5. Kicking goals and racked up 226.5 kick metres a game (R1 - 110, R2 - 343). Scored 47 in game 2 and also missed 5 tackles... missed 0 in R1 and only averaged 1.9 last year. Might not be your top tier half but could be a good half to back up Cleary/Moses/DCE if you don't think you'll have the cash for two gun halves and to fill out the rest of your squad with guns. Or is the season too short for a shout?

If Magoulias is named on the bench. Who would you pick: Magoulias or Fogarty?

If planning to get both, get Magoulias this week and Fogarty next week based on BE

Magoulias will be named at 13 mate. Williams did fuck all in the first two rounds and Magoulias looked like he was roaring and horned up! I think he's won the spot.

From memory last time they experimented with Roberts at FB it ended with 3 halves demanding the ball. Maybe new coach changes this.

I can't believe everyone is so sure of this. I mean he might be named, and my fantasy team would love it if he is, but I think a lot of the certainty floating around here on this is very wishful thinking.

Pretty much my thoughts. If I was confident he's a long-term prospect, then his upside is similar to Luai, who everyone got on pre-season
