I'd go Teddy, especially for essentially the same price.

Teddy is clearly going to be one of the best 3 WFBs this year. There are a heap of other HLFs that will go close or beat Milf for points.

Yeah I'll probably opt for Walters... I'm just looking at options, playing around with ideas

    My current team is this:

    Koroisau
    Haas Carrigan
    Knight Leilua EKatoa
    Moses Mann
    Aubbs Shiba
    Papy Drinkwater Isaako

    Friend Brailey Dfifita Walters
    Lomax Rudolf Williame Luai

No real urgent trades... so I thought Knight to Tolo, Aubbs/Isaako to Grant, Walters to Fogarty.
    Nice team mate.

Have you considered upgrading Friend to a keeper as well? I don’t think Friend is gonna score much more than mid 40’s tbh.

But yeah I’d go Walters to Fogarty.

Good on ya for not having Williams.

Compared to some other sides I have seen you don’t have as many issues.

I know you’re thinking what I’m thinking too and that is get Taumalolo in and friggin do it now!

Obviously a bit bias coming from myself ahahah but go Teddy mate. He will get you 35 points alone from meters and tackle busts and has an extremely high ceiling.
I’d also pick Teddy, easy decision.

If Aubbo is benched I think I’ll trade him out and get Teddy.

Gday all  Very Happy   Hope everyone has gotten through the last couple of months unscathed and is doing well?  Nigh on a decade with you VERY average mob on Fanatics/Sportal and never thought I would go 2 days, let alone 2 months, without posting.  Crazy times!  For the first time in over 20 years my State Manager actually referred to me as essential  Very Happy and it's been pretty full on.

Stew and I are doing well in lockdown, although the filthy plodder has driven me nuts at times...

I'm hoping to get through the last few threads and catch up on the goings on in here over the next few days.  Bring on the League and up the mighty Tigers!!!

Is there many other teams that kept Su'A after R1. I feel like I'm one of not a lot

Scored 29 & 53 so seriously confused about how long I should be keeping him as it looks like he has 100k to make but may be inconsistent. 53 was marking against D Fifita as well

Probably going to use him as makeweight to get Cleary in R5

playing close to 80 it’s floor vs upper scoring limit minus tries. Don’t think it a too much to expect him to average 40 Long term so decent scoring and money making. Can’t really go wrong

People who are bringing in Cotric, are you expecting him to be a season keeper or just a launch point to RTS/TTrb/Ted later?

Regarding Levi.. remember when Des was at the Dogs and told Lichaa he's not allowed to run the ball. Worried that Des has put similar restrictions on Levi.

As everyone has said he is probably a punt, but I still might give him one more week. I haven't really looked at trades properly yet though.

After Rnd 1 I wanted to grab Katoa and my options for trade out were Williams, Levi, and Su'A. I punted the bloke who scored 53 in round 2 Beer

For me the key to Levi is whether he has come back really fit. I had him in round 1 and at half time was really pleased with his great work rate, tackling anything that moved. From memory he was on about 30 at half time and looking like Api 2.0 In the 2nd half he had no involvement, after gassing himself from being so involved in the first half.

Yeah that's true. I refuse to believe that Croker will play any real part moving forward, and its all about Levi's fitness.

Regardless, he played 72 mins in rnd 2 with only 10 mg for a score of 23.

He's shown in the past he is capable of those kinds of crap scores but in 2018/2019 he had hardly any really bad scores when playing big mins.. rnd 1 can be put down to fitness.. maybe rnd 2 was a one off........... (let me convince myself!!hah)

EDIT: Just went looking for hints on the sea eagles site as to his fitness. FMD the sea eagles media videos are hard to watch.

    [u]Thoughts on this team/trades

    Koroisau

    Haas Knight

    Horsburgh Leilua Carrigan

    Moses Croft

    Aubusson Wiliame

    Papenhuyzen Hughes Drinkwater

    Katoa Grant Magoulias Rudolf

    Cleary Musgrove Luai Kerr

    Trades were:
Burns -> aubbo Williams -> Grant Fifita -> Magoulias Walters -> Moses

My bench looks pretty thin and I panic traded hughes in last second in round 2 and am regretting it

Te'o likes to be the enforcer and is good for a penalty or two. He can be hard to handle and was playing
in the Super rugby comp. with the Sunwolves in the centre position. He is rocks and diamonds, more rocks these days.

My favourite time Te'o was the enforcer was when his own teammates were tearing strips off him in the ingoal for putting in a pea-hearted defensive effort.

Yeah quite a few stories around about how he wasn't the most liked bloke.
Could definitely be worse players to bring back to the comp though!

It looks like Grant and Fogarty are those must have hot options which will enable me to get Taumalolo in.
With Dfifita out for a bit I really want to bolster my 2nd row without having to trade him out

I'm liking the Cowboys next 3 games - Titans, Sharks & Warriors - so I'm trading in Holmes:
    D. Fifita out - Yeo in
Watkins out - Isaako in (via Shibasaki)
    Knight out - Holmes in

    Koroisau
    Haas (vc), Carrigan
    Taumalolo (c), Yeo, L. Leilua
    Moses, Drinkwater
    Shibasaki, Aubusson
    Holmes, Isaako, Papenhuyzen

    B. Brailey, E. Katoa, K. Mann, B. Walters
    Luai, Rudolf, JTB, Wiliame

Leaves me with 11k bank & my last trade will be used if necessary if example Grant starts/Walters doesn't or Aubusson is starting off the bench.
I'm also deciding whether to play Wiliame over Shibasaki & Luai over Mann.

I am with you Chewie. I dont have any real fires to put out, unless I decide to trade Fifita, just looking at either going with cash generation or bolstering up. At the moment I am looking at cash gen.
I already have Tolo, Leilua, E.Katoa who can sit in at 2RF. Looks like my first three trades will be Walters, Williams, Musgrove out -> Magoulias, Grant, Fogarty in. Leaves me 496K in the bank and obviously hoping Kennedy still gets a run.

    Leaves me with
    Api
    Haas Carrigan
    E.Katoa Tolo Leilua
    Moses Mann/Fogarty/Luai
    Maubbs Lomax
    Kennedy Papy Drinkwater
