NRLFF 2006 Fantasy thread - part 2 Let's get ready to rumble

I have tested the scoring and price changes, things going OK so far.
I am going to cap price changes at $100k per game week. This impacts basically noone (if NRL rounds 2 and 3 are in the same game week, it shouldn't effect anyone at all), the vast majority of changes are under $50k - but if there are 2 NRL rounds in a game week and someone scores well in both of them this is just going to keep them from going too ballistic.

Now I'm going to actually start inputting your teams and see how it goes.

Sitting at about 10-12 entries right now. For everyone that hasn't sent their entries through you have a few more days to do so

I have a couple of changes to make. Will send it in on Thur if that is ok? I cant remember what day this starts!

main one ones are

No captains - had a play and it was too fiddly to get it to work nicely

AEs are position independant - it is just far, far easier for me to code it that way. So you can name a non starting CTR to get a high scoring forward as AE

The scoring system of this comp should limit the usefulness of this as a a long term strategy

A planned game week schedule is also listed, as well as how game weeks and trades etc should work

Wow this spreadsheet is awesome.

It's bringing back so many memories. not sure the memories from the right year, but memories nonetheless of the sort of players I used to own this era! Don't let DK and Arsen play though. They were the VK and MTB of that era!

For everyone sending in teams, please make sure you have them ordered so that your playing 17 are listed first and your NPRs come afterwards in ranked order of preference for them to play as subs.

Also - when naming a team, you only need to give me the player names - position, cost, club is all redundant and I just remove it anyway before it goes into my spreadsheet

I'm most looking forward to calling everyone cheats

I’ve already assumed anyone who beats me has cheated.

I think the hardest thing is we won't know what happened to a player who suddenly doesn't get named.
1 week Suspension? Dropped? ACL and gone for the season? Left the club entirely? We'll have no idea :/

Also are you going to release scores all at once or drip feed them to us over a weekend so we can get our fix?

1st round will drip feed, see how time consuming it is for how I release in future
