I'm looking a bit at Junior Paulo.

In 2014 he played over 50 minutes 4 times for an average of 40.
Last year he played over 50 minutes 8 times for an average of 44.

His best form last year coincided with Danny Wicks getting injured.

To end the year, parra finished with Mannah + Paulo starting and bench props of
Pauli Pauli (about 22 points in 30+ minutes but now at Newcastle)
Darcy Lussick (27 opoints in 32 minutes)
and Daniel Alvaro (47 points in 42 minutes, but that included 2 tries on his 4 late season games)

2 of those 3 now gone, but Wicks is back from injury.
David Gower played a lot of lock after Watmough went down for the year, but he may get a bench spot in the prop rotation to start the year.

Paulo's average as starting prop with Wicks on the bench is about 40, which is about what he is priced at. Paulo's late season average is also boosted by 2 tries. Take away those (and the associated line break) and I don't think he will make a tonne of money.

The message I have learnt from this is that if Daniel Alvaro can grab a 40 minute bench spot, he is underpriced by almost $100k (he scored 2 tries in his last 2 games, I've discounted these in my calculations)

Tigers are going to come out and absolutely monster it this year. Tedesco is a lock from game 1 for me.

Trbojevic played 22 games in his break out campaign, taking the league by storm with his huge motor and low tackling technique. Trbojevic averaged 39.2 points in 46.7 minutes including 26.2 tackles and 111 metres per game leaving him priced at 348k to start 2016. However when given the chance to play big minutes at the back end of 2015(round 19 onwards) Trbojevic thrived. From round 19 onwards Trbojevic averaged 48.3 points in 55 minutes including 29.7 tackles and 125 metres per game. However Trbojevic suffered a concussion in round 23 forcing him to play only 27 minutes for 16 points. When this game is removed from the stats, Trbojevic average jumps to 53 points in 59 minutes. All of these games occurred with 3 props on the bench(Sao, Sene-Lafao and Starling. If Trbojevic can manage to keep these stats up in 2016 he could easily join the next tier of guns. But will Manly’s increased depth prove to be a problem?

    LEESON AH MAU
Ah Mau started 2015 as the no nonsense mid-range prop none of us would ever consider averaging 39.9 in 43.7 minutes including 26 tackles and 112 metres per game. When Merrin was suspended for rounds 17-21, Ah Mau was forced to step up and lead from the front, boosting his average to 48 points in 49.4 minutes including 32.6 tackles and 137.2 metres. However upon Merrin’s return from suspension Ah Mau kept these numbers at a near identical pace. From round 17 onwards Ah Mau averaged 49.1 points in 50.7 minutes including 29.9 tackles and 143.3 metres per game. Priced at 357k, Ah Mau is nearly 100k cheaper than the likes of Woods, Bromwich, Graham etc. but has shown the potential to match their scores. Will Ah Mau be the main benefactor from Merrin’s departure?

Am liking the look of big jake. Who do you think will play lock when Taupau goes off for a rest? Will another prop come on to play in the middle or would one of the edge fwds move to the middle and symonds comes on?

I'd suggest Buhrer would slot in there (assuming he's not on the outer as rumoured) and then Symonds/Mateo into 2RF

You think so? I reckon JT is a spastic and the tigers must have one of the least intimidating backrows in the competition.

So did fanhub give out that link or did it get leaked? Funny to think if they are trying to do last minute testing and everyone is trying to use that testing site

The link address just got leaked. If you just did some poking around the main site you could find the web address, and it seems fanhub website security is not all it cracked up to be and the general public had access to stuff they shouldn't really have.

Its a shame because if the guys at Renegades could have just kept things quiet we'd potentially have access all the way through the season to see what sort of things are happening, but they appear to have blocked things off now that everything got put out in the open.

Seems Sezer will not be doing the penalty kicking at Canberra as suspected. Makes him less attractive as he won't be getting those tasty points from kicking goals.

Leary would be absolutely perfect for the middle 3rd role when Taupau goes off but don't think he will crack the 17. Just stand in the middle moping up around the ruck and tackling anything that moves. Bench is probably Parcell, Symonds with 2 of Lussick, Starling, Mateo, Leary, Lawrence. Could see Buhrer moving into the middle with Symonds coming on for 30 minutes around half time.

Thread will automatically swap over to Part 3 after 50 posts, so check the main page and/or sub-forum menu if all of a sudden you can't find this particular thread.

I think manly pack would be something like

    Myles
    Parcell/Koro
    JTurbo
    Brown
    Mateo/Symonds/Buhrer
    Taupau

    bench
    Parcell/Koro
    Mateo/Buhrer/Symonds
    Lussick/Lawrence/Starling
    Lussick/Lawrence/Starling

That's just my guess work though.

    JTurbo the most tempting.
