Have to trade one of my halves for Cook - would you trade Flanno over DBrown? I'm torn both ways. While I know Moses is back I still think Brown goes ok, and when the Roosters fire generally Flanno fires. My other two halves are Cleary and DCE so they're staying put

Flanno. It's a coin toss and only luck will mean you've picked the wrong one. Funnily enough both are my permanent halves, Luai is my back up

Biggest weaknesses to my eye are WFB3 (currently Kennedy, but possibly Edwards when fit) and 3rd/4th reserves - currently two of Flegler, JTB, Luai with Koro not yet back.

Leaning towards getting Teddy in. So Edwards -> Teddy and JTB -> anyone less than about $206k (thinking Blore).

Other option is Koro -> Cook or Smith or McInnes, which he can do in one trade, and then a second trade. Koro back soon though, although Cook, McInnes or Smith would be a clear upgrade.

RnT would be close to being able to max trade from here.

Kennedy/Edwards as WFB3 isn't terrible so I'd look to upgrade those reserves first up. Hopoate bleeding cash but hasn't made enough to be useful so can stay all year, same with Hampton and Isaako. JTB starting to lose some of the cash so is probably first man out, I'd go with a pure cash out with DPP like Ale.

Using the cash on Wake to Hunt sures up the reserves and gives pretty good value for a keeper + the trades to get him out later if it backfires. From there it's about cashing in on value to upgrade the squad ASAP

Taupau and Thompson still provide great value as trade ins for Flegler in the short term

I'd bring in someone like Davey for JTB, he's going to need some cash. Then use the cash to upgrade wakeham to a POD like Wighton.

Missed tackles are worth too much here for Hunt to be a good pick IMO

Thinking of pulling the trigger on a trade because of McGuire's 1 week suspension. He's currently my last reserve (no trades would mean bringing Luai into the 17).

Tossing up between either:
1. Trading McGuire for Klemmer or Papalii (the highest averaging players I don't have currently)
2. Trading Luai for Ponga (via DPP)

Ponga is cheap, but high owned and playing Melb....

Who is your back 3 without Ponga? I think I'd rather keep McGuire, especially if the choice is between trading Luai or him. Would you be playing 4 WFB in your 17?

This week: Tedesco, Mann, Lomax (with Aubo in the centres). Once Aubo is done, Mann would go back to the centres and I'd bring Ponga in to cover.

It's more about who will score more points this week (I think). I have plenty of trades and cash left

I see I see. While I don't think Klemmer will hit the heights of last week he's probably the "safest" bet. Who knows what will happen at the Raiders this week and while Ponga might have a higher ceiling overall, it is Melbourne.

Annoyed cuz I knew my opponent was gonna try pull a last minute captaincy swifty off McInnes but I have been flat out at work and missed the chance to check. Sure enough he's now on Teddy. So annoyed

My eliminator is going to be close. He's up by 25 (thanks Lomax)....
