Sportsdeck VSDT 2020 Part 1

For those following along at home;

PAPPY to TEDESCO done
Fullbacks are now Teddy, Ponga, Turbo and Best;
round 7;
WILIAME to  HTF (before HTF's price rises) & SAIFITI/KATOA to Cheapie (for cash)
Centers are now Yeo, STAGGS, MANN & HTF;
round 8;
LEILUA to McINESS & SAIFITA/KATOA to D.FIFITA
2nd row is now McINNES, LOLO, FIFITA, CARRIGAN & SUA

Because the 75 he scored in round 3 is out of his 3 game average, and was replaced by the 19 he just scored

i'm toying with the idea of playing best over tturbo. The way the numbers are looking, best is very solid and the raiders aren't going to lay over and let tommy have his way with them.

trades so far are mcinnes and mitchell in for papy and jsaifiti. The other option is to bring mitchell in for capewell and then play best over papy and just throw papy in based on match ups.

I think I will reverse the Moses to DCE trade and sell Saifiti 1st, before he loses too much cash !!

Really struggling with my second trade this week. Team is:

McInnes, Koroisau
Haas, JTB, Flegler, Rudolf
Lolo, Carrigan, Katoa, Su'a, Leilua, Fuimaono
Moses, Cleary, Williams, Walters
Yeo, Mann, Capewell, Wiliame
Teddy, Ponga, Drinkwater, Best, Hampton

Grant in is one trade, probably for Capewell. Other possible trade outs are Flegler, Walters, Wiliame or Hampton. With DPPs, I can basically do Flegler for anyone less than $555k but no-one is jumping out. So the other option is to choose the best cash cow, giving me enough cash to upgrade Drinkwater (for TTurbo or RTS) or Flegler (for Twal or Harris) next week. Leaning towards doing Walters to Clune, who looks like he's got the best job security/money-making potential. Worried about Paix's job security, with Luke on the bench and Turpin back at some point. Any other ideas? Thanks.

I'm in a similar position, Tedesco in for trade 1, but no cash to do a 2nd upgrade. So just going to bring Clune in as a cashout. May not ever have trades free to cash him out again but he's min price so its him or HTW.

Aubbs and Guler out for McInnes and Fotuaika. Lost 50 places with a 1000 last week

I've gone Capewell>McInnes and Hampton>Farnsworth to fund it

I'm in free fall rankings wise outside the top 100 now

Hey Studogg.

My two playing halves are Flanagan and Williams, and they are both holds for me atm. Eventually, I assume that DCE and Cleary will be my starting halves.

If I didn't own Flanagan, I think I would prefer to buy either DCE or Cleary ahead of Flanagan, as they are both definite, proven keepers.

For what it's worth CB, I'm doing Capewell -> Mitchell this week, and I'm holding Papy for now. From what I see of Papy on the field, it seems to me that there are some big scores on the horizon for him.

How do you bring in Grant for Capewell? What sort of dpp switcheroo magic are you using?

Upgrading Flegler to a KEEPER is a good idea IMO. I like Twal, but he is over your 555k budget. Will Walters -> Clune give you enough cash to do Flegler -> Twal?

Capewell out, Fuimaono to CTR, Mcinnes to 2RF, Grant in

McInnes being 2RF really helps out in this comp, allowing a Koro/Grant/McInnes combo

I copped some bad beats last weekend.

Was up 80 with Cordner & Lewis Vs Teddy against Verbal in draft and got beat.

It was always going to be tough against you. Didn't realise I would have beaten absolutely anybody else in the league. But when you lose to the bloke coming 4th overall it's a little easier to stomach.
