Re: Burns. His 3-4 games he played in 2017-2018 he had a couple head knocks.
In 2019, he stuffed his hammy and ankle up at the same time. Rehab took a lot longer than expected because Wayne really likes Burns and wanted him to be 110%. I am going to go out on a limb and say these injuries are behind him and he will fire out a 45+ average this year. He will be a steady 38 points with the odd 50-60 and 10-20 chucked in there.

You're 100% right half of the time.

PS Had a look back to laast year and the prediction thread is about a month away.

    Ponga retaining goal kicking.
    Watson likely bench middle.
    Brailey plan is 80 mins.

lol! So he will probably be a safe 38 points, with the odd 50-60 pushing him up to a 45 average.

Ponga will be slightly underpriced due to his start at 5/8 last year. He finished with a 49.3 average; however, he average 51.88 at fullback last year --> This is with a 6 in the final round against the Panthers where the Knights lost 54-10, which seems to be an outlier. Without that 6 his average is 54.75 across 16 games at fullback in 2019 all 80 minutes. Along with this his GK was often taken away from him in the back end of the year. For someone who finished 2018 with an average of 52.4... with an injury affected 24 in 66 minutes and 8 in 14 minutes. Could be a slightly under priced gun who can average 50+ and then some for those who don't wanna fork out early for Teddy.

Watson bench middle is a no go for me! Will probably be limited to 30 minutes a game unless injuries??

Brailey 80 minutes is alright. Although his younger brother is more appealing, especially if Cameron King isn't on the bench.

I read on nrlsctalk that Kenny may not be ready to start the season & I. Cleary has said he wants an 80 min hooker. Koroisau averaged 70 mins in 2018 & 69 mins in 2017 so he's capable of playing big mins. This is a quote from I. Cleary:
"Koroisau hasn't played a full 80 mins in a long while so we'll see how he goes. It would be nice if he could play 80 mins but if he can't we have Kenny & May in the group."

I think this is right. Prior to 2019, Koro played 80 minutes (or close to it) when he was hooker. I think he can get back to that.

Might involve taking a bit of a risk depending on round 1 team makeup, but I am tentatively on board

Did Manly push Koro to leave or did he walk out himself? You would think if Manly were fine with Koro leaving they would be pretty certain Fainu would be playing this year?

Pretty sure Koro signed with Panthers before Fainu got himself into a mischief.

    I'd forgotten Rapana bailed.

Just looking at Raiders site, they list CNK as a winger aha (matters none, of course).

More Knights info, I think a few were discussing Bradman Best's position?

The question was asked will Moga is in the starting side.

    Barry Toohey
    @BarryToohey
No guarantee. Bradman Best will be left centre with Moga fighting it out with a few others for right centre spot. Trial form will be telling.

Scott is surely not worth considering at the raiders until we know what role he and Bj will play? Talk of BJ starting on bench. I don’t see it working

Last thing I heard is he was playing one of their seasons and coming back to NRL because of how short their seasons are. That would be interesting lol

Yeah he wanted to come back in May but NRL blocked it for obvious reasons. So highly unlikely to play in 2020.

Watson playing a Brandon Smith type role of 30-50 minutes of middle running and emergency hooker is pretty good for the Knights team balance. Not for fantasy tho.

Well that settles that then if he stays fit, I’ll be picking Best and hopefully Mbye plays hooker meaning Talau plays centre for the Tigers.

Hopefully Crossland starts at 6 as well.
