Haha, I did but actually didn't realise you had him. I've been focused on L4 and the Cowboys league.

That’s great news. With me being 8/365 with it still saying Tevaga 44 on official fantasy site currently I’ll take anything I can get, Tommy T 24, Lolo 41, Nikora 42 DCE 43 all in my side has cost me a little.@Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:Tevaga up to 49 by the looks.
Hopefully Cookie goes big on Sunday as I’m on track to lose to Lone Scout at this rate.
I dunno what I’ll do with Fifita, I think that’s gonna be the big question for most of us who have some trades left.

Traded JFH in this round for Matterson purely due to our eliminator match up. Hasn’t gone to plan!

I expect Burns to score around mid 30’s too, that’s a tough one mate.@Mulvy wrote:
I also have RTS in loop position. Assuming Matterson scores more than that (my second loop), would you take RTS' 33 or should I try Burns again in your opinion? Thanks.
If you think Burns can score a try go for it.

Yeah two TB's added for Tevaga on the NRL app. I was never worried that Fanhub would mess it up.

JFH 9 missed tackles, 3 errors and 3 penalties so 30 de-merits ouch!@Welshy wrote:Had some decent scores from non owned high end players that should help my rank!
JFH
DCE
TTurbo
I was thinking about him as a possible trade in for Fifita.
Now after that I’m not so sure.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 77
Just watching the retro game test from 1978 between Aus and NZ. Interesting how despite having to use a bucket of sand, Mick Cronin takes half the amount of time to take a kick compared with today's guys. I'm not complaining about time taken to kick goals, but just another example of how much more game time these days is wasted/not actual play.
The ball needs to be kept in play more for our wonderful game to endure. Less stoppages. I know reduced interchanges has been mooted but all other options need to be considered imo. Get rid of scrums? Get rid of the bunker? Bunker only for a captain's call? Reduced interchange? Stop stopping the play every time someone has a cramp or minor injury?
I'm genuinely interested in other people's opinion on how to speed the game back up. In my opinion the bunker is the worst because we go there nearly every try and the decisions are still controversial half the time, with the added bonus of extra time wasted. A captain's call makes the most sense to me, because the players know more often than not if they've scored. It would stop the bullshit (think Turpin last night). And if they get it wrong, the onus shifts to the players for challenging/not challenging like in the cricket. It doesn't absolve referees, but for the love of God hopefully stops them being the centre of attention.
Thoughts?

It’s great watching the scrums

I know you're old school Rabbit and to a certain extent I am too, but given the way the game is CURRENTLY, what would you do to do speed the game up realistically?

I don't mind the bunker. It's got a lot quicker, and the clock is stopped for it anyway so it doesn't take away from actual playing time.
The clock running down for penalties and kicks does my head in. Stop the clock when the penalty awarded or try given, give the kicker 60 seconds on a seperate timer to do their business or forfeit the kick, then start the game clock again at kick-off. Instantly you have 10+ minutes more time with ball in play.

Andrew Fifita in the sheds with medial/lateral knee iced up. Mechanism suggested lateral knee contusion, medial knee stretch/sprain. Hopefully internal knee structures spared & just icing as a precaution #NRLPanthersSharks

Hang on, this frustrates me though. Whether it's game time or not, it's time wasted for players to get their breath back (and viewers) which wouldn't have been there in the traditional version (or interchanges I suppose). I don't mind the idea of a "conversion/penalty kick" clock maybe.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 77
Sounds like good news for Fifita even though he’s playing busted.
With Prior very likely to be out next week I think I’ll have to once again hold Fifita, a trade to Klemmer or JFH is probs too sideways as a busted Fifita playing 50mins still matches their scores I reckon.

How’s your score currently?
I’m 8/376, not my best but the guys who are doing better are the guys who have S J and captained Haas.
Hopefully Cook goes big for me on Sunday.
I think I’ll drop a few places from my current rank of 455, hopefully still top 500 though.

I've had a purple patch the last few weeks which seems to have come to an end with captain Lolo. The rest of the crew hanging in there pretty good though so hopefully will limit the carnage. Started this round 73rd but expect to lose ranks this week.
