    Vs.

    Lawrie > Smith

Would only be 2 trades if you were trading the person you traded out back in again.

That forward pack is going to get absolutely destroyed. You could have 3 Ponga's in your team, wouldn't matter with that weak sauce front line.

Can go Brown and Martin > R12 Cheapie and Anyone (R12 Season Keeper)

    My anyone list is this
Turbo (May be there for Origin 2 and 3..... most likely will be)
    Bateman (If named)
    Nathan Brown (If named)
    Taupau

Then by the looks of my team I should be able to make 6 trades between R12 and R16 to have 11 on the pitch for R16. Leaving me with 7 trades after Origin to finish my final 17 and win the comp! Seems easy enough.

I wouldn't write the QLD team off. They'll need good leadership to have a chance though.

Yeah I was hoping with a 2 week rest on the horizon he'd go hard at the weekend. Didn't play out that way. Brought him in as a keeper but he's on thin ice already. Probably makes sense to give him a 4 week trial til the next bye round then decide

These are the type of thoughts I go through to try and justify things in fantasy land but yeah I think it'd be worth waiting and seeing how Farah goes after the break.

He was having a bad game for sure. Whether it was injuries or something personal off the field, not every player can be 100% switched on for every game.

Madge would have sent a pretty good message to him that his spot is by no means safe and so hopefully that lights a fire in him.

The QLD pack has an average age of 27.5 compared to NSW who's is 26.3 so not much difference there (not including bench). I think the packs are pretty close in comparison. Qld has the speed and TB/LB ability from Hunt and Arrow with Felise being able to break the line off Munster. We have the big hard runners of Papalii and McGuire being able to rack up the post contact metres and then Gillett being the field general running lines and safe as a brick shit house on defence. Blues are very similar with the LB/TB ability from Cook. They then have the big bopping runners of Vaughan and Klemmer while Frizzell and Cordner are the line runners with the ability to spread it wide and then Jurbo being able to tackle everything and ball play at the line.

It will be a close series. I just hate Mbye!

That's impressive mate. Wasn't meaning to be a tool saying 8!

I'd get on one or 2 cows and maybe a keeper from this week if I was you but the way most people have traded this year it just means you will regain a few points you lose this week in the next bye round so don't stress too hard

Cheers mate, I've just bit down and made 4250 ranks up to about 5740 now. Am hoping like u said thay any lost ground this week just means a gud round in 16 and in between. If for some reason Sele and Martin play this week I'd have 5. I may bring Britton and Knight in, not set yet.

I nearly feel off my chair reading this.

You guys will have 20 minutes of trying to match Klemmer, Vaughan, Jturbo, Cordner and that's fine, your forward pack is up to that task.

Then NSW makes 2 subs, Haas and Murray. They get fed balls from Cook. You respond by putting on Ofa and Napa getting fed balls from Hunt.

Just lol if you think you guys have any chance this year. Dear god...

We’ll have a spine of Allen, Rabbit, Reyno and Brittain and still flog the slitheries.

Can't wait to see your HIA in the first 0.53sec for a DNP. Go Rabs.

Haas is a good player and going to be a freak as he gets older but he has played like 10 games of NRL football. Origin is on a whole other level. Ofa has been putting in work off the bench for Broncos and has gas to match it too. Napa has stepped up this year and has always stepped up for QLD. A lot of people are writing off QLD but these players always seem to step up for these games.

    Macca is back next game.

Personally I would rather Macca didn't come straight back into the #9, but yeah.

His role is scoring shitloads of points.

If he scores his average he only drops 15-20k

Macca will kill it when hes back. Seggy hot on his tail now and if he goes good could get the maroons 9.

Its amazing how quickly guys pull their finger out when they are playing for a contract or a jersey

You reckon after 250 games of NRL he is suddenly going to find a creative spark and the ability to pass?
