NRL Draw 2016 Empty NRL Draw 2016

So we've had some early bits and pieces, including the Cows to open the season at 1300 SMinto Stadium on Thursday March 3rd.

    On NRL.com this morning:

    http://www.nrl.com/indigenous-all-stars-to-clash-with-world/tabid/10874/newsid/90755/default.aspx

Great way to re-invigorate the All Stars game-Indigenous All Stars v World All Stars; personally love the idea.

Every international captain, limit of 2 per NRL team, it wont be close to a world all star team. It should just be world 13

I'd like to see a charity game run at the start of the year. Have the Australian captain and Dally M winner as captains for their sides. Each one picks a side, position by position and they play against each other. Can't pick someone you currently play with in your club side and say four players in each team are celebrities or past players. Mic a few players up and have a laugh. Could have Hindy on Cam Smiths team for example up against Gordie/Fletch and JT. don't take it too serious and raise money for men of league or something.

Past two seasons Radradra has scored a hatty in round 1 games. Looking forward to see how Foran goes against us straight up. Hopefully there wont be any preseason injuries

I could have sworn they said they had locked in the first game to be at Dairy Farmer's. Why not a GF repeat/derby; crowd would be comparable to an Eels home game v Broncs.

Cows wanted their home opener on Saturday. Better for their fans they say, which makes sense.

Play Eels v Broncos will be the most watched game of the round.

Glad the Eels will get to start the year with a "W" Midfield bombs to Hunt all game = winning!!

Personally it's nice that one of our Thursday games is away so there is less home Thursday games, though it'd be nice to think the season could be launched in front of 40000+. Fair chance though that there wouldn't be 40K at any stadium in the league for a regular season match, so Pirtek is as good as anywhere.

Parramatta should be heavy favourites by virtue of the home ground advantage, and also they're coming off a 4 week longer turnaround. Apparently when the Broncos have a 1 day longer turnaround it's a huge advantage, so the Eels should have no excuse with 4 weeks more!

Haha, thats a pretty good lowering of expectations. Kudos. But seriously, if you can get $1.15 about the Broncos, thats truck loads better than interest, so you'd be mad not to take it.

I'd say Parra 1-12, I think they should be favourites.

Stop It!! A sane person wouldn't take 12-1, let alone consider a 1-12 margin victory

Won't happen mate, they'll both be knocked out in week 3 of the finals. Losing to the Knights and Titans

Just saw a link confirming the Cows had turned down the opener in favour of Saturday night, yep.  Said link also says draw will be announced today but not holding my breath.  Any word over there that it will indeed be released today?
