Will be setting it up once we get enough members so if you are interested put your name forward
As for rules, same rules as most of you will be used to.
-You are to fill out a 25 man squad. There will be a salary cap of $6.5million and the minimum allowed bid is $40,000 with bidding increments of $10,000
-There will be 9 rounds and I will post up 2 teams (a combo of 1 team from the top 8 this year and 1 from the bottom) and you will have 24 hours to submit your bids via PM. The 9th round will be open for all players not picked up during their team's round earlier. We will be using 2016 team lists, so Surgess is available while guys like Hodges aren't.
-In order to try and bring a bit of strategy to this rather than just mass bidding on players and sending in a ton of bids and hoping one will stick, we will be having a bid limit. You are allowed to bid on a maximum of 10 players per round. This limit will not be imposed on the 9th round though. Hopefully this leads to teams with players from multiple teams, and increases the strategy of who you go after.
-There will be a separate thread for you all to list your teams and how much you paid for each player. You will be responsible for updating this.
-It is up to you how you get the make up of your squad. There will be no restrictions on playing a FB at wing or a 2rf at front row. This will be factored in when judging overall team however so being able to have a gun FB because you moved Inglis to five eight might add firepower but limiting your halves abilities will be taken into consideration.
-For judging the overall winner: At the end of the game, all teams are to submit to me via PM their ranking of the other squads from first to last. I too will make a ranking and we will average it out to get an average ranking. Hopefully this removes some subjectivity towards certain positions/players and how people rate them. You are more than welcome to post up a basic enough write up on your team in order to explain why your team should be the best and to justify certain players in certain positions or to explain your team dynamics.
