Just remember you've cost yourself $850 by not entering the NRL cash comp.Verbal Kint wrote:

Because 0% of you have read the rules, here are the fantasy tie-breakers
15. In the event of a tie between two (2) or more Eligible Participants for a prize, the Eligible Participant, from the tied Eligible Participants, who has made the fewest trades, will be awarded the prize. In the event there is still a tie:
(a) the Eligible Participant, from the tied Eligible Participants, with the lowest team salary cap total will be awarded the prize; and then
(b) In the event there is still a tie, the Eligible Participant, registered to participate in the Game on the Website first in time during the Promotion Period, as determined by the Promoter, will be awarded the prize.
If there is a tie, you'd assume trades remaining will be 0 , but would be unlikely that salary cap is also tied, so registration date shouldn't be a factor. If it does coem down a tie breaker though, you can guarantee people woudl complain about prize going to the lowest salary cap.
FYI
VSDT splits the prizes if there is a tie.
Except for the eliminator prize, where it goes to the highest rank after 25. Given the eliminator final is played in round 25, that is effectively no tie-breaker and they'll split the prizes. Someone forgot to update their comp rules with 1 less NRL round this year.
Supercoach goes based on registration date.
Fantasy has a prize that can't be shared (trip to Perth) but Supercoach is just cash, so strange that they don't just split that if there is a tie.

For some reason I knew about the salary cap one. That is a little odd but much better than registration date. I guess if you are one of the guys with a chance to win and have a trade left you might want to consider using it on a cash out to lower your salary cap value....just in case!

wouldn't you just keep the trade? First tie breaker is the one who has the most trades left right?RNGD Analytics wrote:

I had bit of a daydream just now that Liddle actually did go missing and I was hunted down via this site as a key suspect (not a usual suspect badum-tish)
Stay safe Jacob!
On topic, I'm going to captain Cook this week. Playing safe. Watch him score 19 now... Is it next season yet?

Is there anything in the rules about foul play? (IE: a player being kidnapped so he misses a game )

Not true, I read them when I was sitting in first earlier in the season. Jinxed myself!

There are so many other ways to tie-break but this one makes sense from a sign-ups point-of-view I guess?
I'd go for highest single round score between the two.

I read them too a while back. I was concerned because I had the highest value team in the whole competition at that point. Little did I know, from that point onwards my team would tank completely and lose 600k in value. So no problem any more! Except for the part about having a really shit team.

So losing value in your team was tactical, awesome!
If you had one trade left, you wouldn't be using it on someone with a low break-even if the teams were around the same value. Strange thing to potentially include but chances are it wouldn't come to it anyway.

Sadly, I've somehow ended up with 20 green dots in the last round. Was kinda hoping for one more for my twin-loop.
I'd be leaving out Martin or Arrow. Unfortunately both of them are capable of going big. Arrow will probably only go big if there's an injury in the Titans pack though so I'd say him however Martin is still maybe in some doubt? Decision might be made for you!

Race for prizes goes down to the wire in NRL Fantasy

The Telstra Premiership may be tight this season and it's the same story in NRL Fantasy, with at least five teams in with a genuine shot at taking out the major prize by the end of the weekend.
After 24 rounds there's a 77-point gap between the first-placed Junior Mints and the second-placed RNGD Stars, and a 146-point gap between first and the fifth-placed Usual Suspects.
