What a game though, an absolute Origin classic. Some interesting decisions in the second half by the ref but take nothing away from the game. It was amazing. The first half defending took it out of us. Tariq Sims penalty the turning point.

The turning point was the same as game 2 last year. Cordner being interchanged

    Edit:

Not so much a turning point as the point nsw lost their chance to win

Billy deserves to go out with the win. Well done Billy, what a career.

DCE, you lost the series you gumboot. Fuck off.

Qld just too good and we still, as I said after game 1 and 2, need to make a few changes. Looked far more dangerous in attack when Maloney was off for 10 and when Cordner was off. If I see another Maloney to Cordner pass again any time in the next decade it will be too soon.

Is there a bigger noob in. The game than DCE? Seriously, what a pretentious wanker. I'm glad they won and he will get first crack next year cause he will be a cancer for Qld.

Long neck was almost good enough to have gotten it if we’d won if they actually gave it to the best player. I said it in the fantasy thread but it’s Surgess 2014 again

Was that a quiet dig by DCE. "This time I could be myself and play the role I play in club footy", stick that in your pipe and smoke it Cam. DCE is spewin it was a Channel 9 broadcast and he wasn't being interviewed by Yvonne.

Two brain snaps for Sims and Klemmer ultimately cost us the game. Should have been penalty NSW for holding down Sims but you just don't let the ref a chance to blow a QLD penalty in QLD. Two penalties in possession, with one costing us a try and one gifting QLD won. The game was won and lost by those brain snaps.

We don’t go close to winning the series without those two...

Mitchell never touched it with Cordner there. Mitchell was very lazy at our own end also, really needed to get more involved. It meant we went away from Cordners side. Mate, he is a plodder in attack. Sure, I'm not convinced Peachey added much but I think if we had a Frizell instead out that side we absolutely go up a gear in attack.

Hang on, did Slater just win Player of the series???

That will fucking absolutely do me, what a debacle and way to cheapen the fuck out of the award.

The medal being named after Wally is a joke so it's only fitting that Slater won it.

There's is ten backrowers that could have done what Cordner did. Yep, he worked his arse off,no doubt, good effort.

Maloney single handedly cost us the game tonight and any late opportunity. Has a half every thrown so many intercepts in a series, surely not.
