    Well played lads!

Thanks Chewie! My "fuck the byes" style of planning hasn't hurt me too much it seems.

Hardly anyone has really done bye planning properly though.

VK and ZD have 8 and 9 players for this round (plus whatever trades haven't shown through yet). You only really need 10 decent players this week to get a ranking increase. I  would not consider that serious planning for the byes.

Has anyone had 13+ for both bye rounds?  What sort of overall rank are you looking at and how many trades do you have left?

I had 12 in round 13. My bye planning consisted entirely of buying Crichton Lol and Koriosau (who played in my team for 1.25 weeks), and if I needed a cheap guy I made it someone who played that bye round.
I think getting the strongest team on the park ASAP has been a much more useful strategy.

I was going to have 12 this rd but Harris out changed that.

    Had 12 for rd 13.

I'm sitting at 12 for both. Bit of luck and I would have had Mbye, RFM, McCullough pushing numbers up this week. The rest of the round I have done rubbish. 6 trades left we will see rank after todays game

Option 1:Sua to James this week
Option 2:Isaako to James/Taupau next week but won’t have any CTR cover

Thoughts? Or of course could just do Sua to James/Taupau next week

I would rule out option 2 because you're tempting fate with no ctr cover. I think you should keep Isaako due to his dpp cover.
I would do option 1. There are risks involved as you know but if it's the best fit for your team then go for it. I think if you're getting James it has to be this week because he'll be over 900k next week & if there are no other players to fund it then you have to trade Su'a.
