Penalty Try could have gone either way. In my view, given chambers easily got to the ball inside the deadball, and he was a few metres behind Cordner, and the ball did sit up like a peach, there could be no doubt Cordner would have got to it. I guess the question is for the video ref is, "having determined he would have got to it, do I believe he would have grounded it?" I can see why he might have decided a professional footballer would be able to ground the ball.
Still, understandably controversial I imagine, especially for Qlders.
