    Gerard Beale Return

Post by BBowler on Thu Apr 12, 2018 1:33 pm

I keep hearing that “Gerard Beale is close to making his club debut” at the Warriors.

Given their hot run - who would make way for him?

Or does he just have to wait for an injury to the incumbants?

Gerard Beale has his own thread?

I doubt anybody makes way. He'll just be there in case somebody isn't in form but I don't think (apart from Kata) he'll replace

Gerard Beale is hoping to return for the @NZWarriors in 3 weeks time. Would be a 6 month return to play for him after suffering a fractured tibia and fibula (lower leg) in the RLWC late last year. Really tough rehab, will be good to see him back

Beale has chosen to honour his late mum's influence by striving to live the values she instilled in him.

"It's off-field stuff, being a good person in general, being honest," he said.

"Hopefully I can take that through to football.

"Being honest with myself, not taking shortcuts, and doing the little things right.

"The big things only come if the little things are going right."
