    Team is

    SJ DCE
    Marsters Mitchell
    Tedesco Ponga TTurbo

    Cook Farah Arrow Fainu
    Holmes Isaako Lewis Tuala

    Have 107k in the bank and apart from Fainu I like the team. Is it worth wasting a trade to get a red dot to have a WFB/CTR to loop Isaako or Holmes in. Currently Ponga helps but that’ll leave soon.

    Thinking of going to 2 trades

    Fainu -> Pearce/Reynolds (assuming charges or Koro will make Fainu irrelevant)
    Lewis -> HLF/WFB red dot
    Tuala -> CTR/WFB red dot

    I’ll have cover for all positions (18th / 19th man are backs which isn’t ideal for a late drop but that’s fine) and have looping options in high variance positions. Seems ideal for H2H but am worried that this sacks too many trades for a limited gain. 2 trades for injuries over 3-4 weeks seems too brave.

    Any thoughts on if a trade at this point is worth it to exploit the loop?

    I think you would probably be better off just making the Fainu > Reynolds (Pearce) trade and forgetting about the double looping opportunity.

    You're team looks to have too many WFB's to make looping in this position practical. To perform a loop with you're WFB's will require that 3 of them will have to be sitting in your EMG's at some stage of the process. This would not give you much wriggle room with regards to moving them about to ensure that you can get the best ones score at the end of the round.

    If I put Matt Wright in FB (he’s not playing), and I have Cotric, Brimson and Manu  (all playing after him) in the 5-8 emergencies, can they be swapped around at any time prior to the last game?

    At this point it is Wright at FB in the 13.

    Emergencies
    Cotric 5
    Brimson 6
    Manu 7

    I hate this shit, but fuck it. If it’s there, why not.

    Once they've played they're locked into that position. So with Wright playing first of that lot you won't get to look at anyone's scores before deciding who to swap him with.

    Yeah mate, they can be swapped up until they each individually play and get locked up.

    True, but it won't help for poolhopping, cos he won't get to swap out a low scorer. That's my understanding anyway.

    Yep, correct. If Wrighty 'played' later on in the week Rabs would get a free look at the player who plays first (in EMG 5).. if that player doesn't score well then he can opt to bring in one of the other two.

    Hey Rabs, don't listen to those other idiots. Easy to do a little loop if that's what you want.

    Assuming there are no other WFBs on your bench, put Wright in WFB

    18 - whoever your other reserve is
    19. Cotric
    20. Brimson
    21. Manu

    If Cotric goes well, do nothing, he will sub in for Wright.
    If Cotric sucks, then sub Brimson or Manu (whoever you think will go bigger) into 18 and you will get their score instead

    So my bench reads;

    Smith
    McInnes
    Hodgson
    Papalii

    Lewis
    Cotric
    Brimson
    Manu

    Wright playing WFB.

    Is this how I get to Rort the system correctly? Rolling Laugh

    Sorry Rabs, looks like you are out of luck this week. Lewis locks out too early for you to move him around as required

    Unfortunately it won't work because Lewis plays before Cotric/Brimson/Manu. You won't be able to re-order your EMGs sorry Rabs.

    I have a problem with Looping with 3/4 of my EMG being doggies players. Even if I cop a red dot, it won't help me as three EMGs will lock out at once.

    In that case, if you want to loop, you set your WFBs as you would normally (I guess you put Cotric in), and put Wright into your last sub spot (ie 4th on ur bench).

    You could then take a free look at someone who you would probably start anyway (from the teams that play ahead of Manly) by playing them at EMG1. If they happen to go terribly, you could then switch wright with your next best and avoid taking that crap score (need to make that switch before Matt Wright locks though i.e. before the manly game starts).

    The loop essentially acts as an insurance policy on one of your big guys going down injured in the first 5 minutes and gives you the option of putting another guy inlace of them.

    It certainly limits your options - not impossible though.

    So if you had a red dot, say matt wright. as above, you play him as your 4th reserve. in EMG 1 (the guy who will take that spot) you play a guy that you would normally want to start and as long as he plays in a game before the Dogs game, you would have the option of subbing in one of those dogs players into the 4th reserve spot to take your EMG1s spot in the 17 if that player had a shocker...

    The Clacker:

    A maneuver where a male pulls his pants down while in a standing position (generally to the ankles), lifts his shirt with one hand, and expeditiously thrusts his hips back and forth in a swinging motion. If done correctly, the thrusting will swing his "member" into contact with the abdomen on the upswing, and the leg or anus on the downswing, thereby creating a "clacking" sound. It is recommended that this act be augmented by pouring a beer over the crotch with the free hand to accentuate the clacks being generated.

    Ross Rabbit was getting annoyed by Carissa so he decided to pull out The Clacker to make her leave.

    Sounds like the definition has changed since Rabs and I grew up. I have performed said move for the wife also the side to side (not sure if it has a different name). Never knew it was now called a clacker.
