Makes a lot of sense what you're saying mate. I'm down to 17, need to make 3 trades this week so will be down to 14. Really sweating on Brown to play so I can save a trade.

Nobody can give you anything more than an educated guess on that one. This is Madge we're talking about here, only two things are for certain. Surgess will line up at Lock and Adam Reynolds if fit will play halfback. Anything else is prone to change at any given moment.

In my opinion, if they don't want Cook to get majorly unhappy then they might restore the balance in minutes between the two.

Agreed with regard to Farah and Cooks minutes. It wouldn't surprise me if Daley had asked to condition Farah up to 80mins, or if Farah asked to be given the opportunity to play 80 to show he still can.

Now that he hasn't got the callup and for no particular reason other than NSW are going a different way, then I can see it returning back to normal.

I'm steering clear from Farah. If I trade Smith, then I'll just try to offset Hodgson.

What's the plan with Kaysa?

IMO Thurston will play origin 1. He said on abc after the match last thursday that he was 90% good to go and if the game was next week hed have played. 13 days between that game and origin 1, he'll be fine.

Kev just named milford so bennett cant block qld taking him into camp as a precaution

Max trading this week gets me to the following 12 players to run out R12:

HODGSON
TOLMAN
(C) CRICHTON, BURGESS, GALLEN, ELLIOTT

Still leaves a decent quality 15-17 to go out on R13, after picking up an even cheaper Graham.
After this week 16 trades, $46K and a few more cows to milk as needed for the remainder of the season (CHN, Elliott, JWall, MWZ, KNik, Fui).

I'm light on for bye planning but it meant that I avoided Brown and Graham troubles last week. Also keen to see how JBrom comes back in a couple of weeks - could be worth a low priced shot (maybe they should have negative points for scandals).

It would be great if Brown was good to go, hopefully, but I'm not holding my breath. Only trade I'm looking at at the moment is possibly Kaufusi to Aubbs via Brown. Fucks my DPP but what do you do. Brown to Aubbs if he's ruled out for a number of weeks. COuld go CHN but if he gets an extended run, he might be worth keeping. Probably not though.

I'm quitting while i'm ahead on CHN, he played 80 this weekend i think and stunk it up good. like hess, he's made his $$$ time to move on as far as i am concerned

points in tough bye rounds far more valuable. 16 trades left with 3 being made this weekend, I need to take the risk
