    Dont trade Liccha in.

Des must like Liccha and what he does though as the Dogs have Garvey there and he offers great service and runs well out of dummy half.

Just on the Dogs they breached the salary cap by 86k last year, have upgraded players from 2016-2017(plus back ended contracts) while only losing Rona and next year have managed to sign players on big money with even bigger backended deals. Cant see this ending too well.

Why? With a BE of 53, you can afford to see how he goes

Im personally keeping Norman on the basis he's only out for 2-3 weeks.

edit: just realize you meant for next week, good idea!

team lists got a lot more interesting. really looking forward to see manlys fullback and tigers 5/8th now

Will be Guth and Moses in the halves with French at the back. Smith will miss out now. When Norman is back you'd think Guth anywhere in the backline. Auva the first to go for Guth and you have Taka coming back too. Semi could see an early end unless they drop Hoffman.

I said next week, if he goes well enough. No official word on Norman yet but if it is confirmed only 2-4 weeks, he's a definite hold. If that is the case, Niko or Lamb to Moses is solid.

I can go Frawley or Hampton to Moses??? I could very well be able to field 17 in Round 12 so replacing Frawley is of no great consequence to me but could be a handy pick-up for the byes anyway as he'll play Round 13 + 15 & 18

Edit: actually nah I didn't realize he was still over 300k. Still a handy pick-up I guess but as a scoring 3rd half option, probably not. I'm covered in the HLF's for now

They didn't breach the salary cap. They had made mistakes in their books and were over for the season coming (this season), and they fixed it up in preseason before it had started.

They also lost Tim Browne, Tony Williams, Lloyd Perrett, as well as another couple of fringies, with Sam Perrett also retiring.

There is still a few to be let go this season yet

Moses being Moses and the Eels being the Eels he will probably score like a roller coaster like he did with us. Time will tell.

Tony Williams was on decent cash but the others weren't and they were replaced in the top 25 by similar players. Just like next year Dogs fans will go on about losing Hoppa and the space that creates but he was hardly on anything with the Eels covering all but 150k. The only player of note that will be on decent coin not re-signing next year is Reynolds and considering the way the halves market has gone crazy i bet Foran is on more than what Reynolds was on this year.

If the Dogs dont lose a heap of contracted players i can see a fair bit of backlash and a big change to 3rd party deals coming.

The report i read was that they were over in 2016 but self reported and therefore copped less penalties, but they were still over.

If Moses has to defend with Auva i can see a lot of breaks coming down that side and a lot of MT for Moses

Who's playing in the halves now for the tigers then? LittleJohn and brooks? Thought the tigers were only gonna release Moses if they could sign someone to cover him like lolohea or something? Warriors have said they don't want to release lolohea yet tho

Didn't Brooks and Lovett get arrested over a brawl last weekend?
Don't know if they're being stood down over it but it's a chance.

I was thinking that too, they don't have anyone and they still released Moses.

Moses is a petulant little grub and as a Tigers fan I'm glad to see the back of him as well.

I would've prefered him being made to see out his contract in reserve grade because by letting him go they've allowed that spoilt brat and his scumbag uncle to get their own way.

Moses is shit, he's a turnstile in defence, overpriced and overrated, I hope some of those big Canberra boys get stuck into him this weekend.

Will Cleary sign Kevin Locke next? or bring Michael Luck outta retirement?

Does anyone else think that he signed Reynolds because that was the next best Maloney-like option?

Locke would fit right in with the shitcuntery of Packer and Reynolds.
