That's really sad news and way too young.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends who have to deal with this tragedy.

    RIP mate.

SI wrote:It is with great sadness that we inform everyone that R0bDog has passed away at the age of 25 over the weekend.  At this stage it is understood that Rob passed away from a pre-existing medical condition whilst at a soccer match in Brisbane on Saturday.

Rob was a veteran DT/Fantasy player with his team Bani Rubble; and a long term poster on the forums and the Mentors and Legends pages.  Rob was extremely passionate about his sport and was a proud Queenslander and Broncos supporter.  Our thoughts are with Rob's family.

    Fuck

Thank you for letting us know SI

RD was one of those lads who was always one step ahead and I knew if I had the same players as him that I was looking at thing the right way. Total respect and I'm sure he would have approached life in the same way so I couldn't be sorrier to hear the news.

Sincere condolences to his friends, family and posters that knew him better than I. Top guy

RIP Robdog, died doing what he loved but far too young.
Can't say I knew him outside the sportal/fanatics forums but always took what he said as very being knowledgeable and an alround decent bloke.

Unfortunately he has left us, but has new company in Beetson and Messenger who he can talk fantasy footy all day with.
Good luck explaining no shoulder charges or pushing in scrums mate

Horrible news, even more so at his young age. I can't say much more than has already been said but my heart goes out to his family and friends. News like this can really put trivial matters in to perspective.

This forum, and Sportal previously, was a better place for RD's presence and input and he will be sorely missed. RIP mate!

It's been awhile since I've posted on these forums(mainly because I'm not doing so well), but this is just terrible news. It seems he was really liked around here and will definitely be missed. My condolences to his family and friends and wishing they can stay strong through these hard times.

    RIP

Half my age and twice my fantasy knowledge.
Some things don't make sense and all the best to any family he had. Sad.
