They need to fuck Guerra off well before thinking about moving Aubbs.

After having played Chewie in the last 2 weeks in h2h's & getting to know him a little bit I'd agree with this & if you look at the crack side he's compiling he's not only a handsome wookie but a shrewd wookie.

For the record, I'm passing just because I don't think I want to cash out my centres yet.

the problem is i know absolutely nothing about CHN, had never heard of the guy before last week. Whenever I trade in these types of fellows that appear from nowhere they usually disappear just as fast.

I went Moga to Slater and now just weighing up to punt Talakai, Suli or Ponga for Bodene.  Leaning towards Talakai, but just that feeling of punting someone that is playing and could post a score is putting me off.  It's for a cut price Bodene though so shouldn't matter.  Would mean SMat can partner Turbo in the centres.

Tough decisions in the backs. I traded Idris out a couple of weeks ago instead of Moga to get Slater in. Happy with how it has panned out but just expected Idris to not make the run on side for a few more weeks. Either way they both kind of had to go at the time but Idris holders (which is most people) could be laughing in a few weeks.

I started with him so knew I was getting a good couple of months. By the time SST is back will be close to Origin anyway so plenty of 80 minute backrow opportunities.

There is a chance New Maubbs Matterson misses out, which means old Maubbs could again become the new Maubbs and the circle of Maubbs is complete.

Personally think Matterson is a star in the making though.

Picked Matterson in my team alst year, but up some decent scores I think, at least one 50 anyway. I think he is a VERY similar player to another player, but nobody else has compared them both yet so I haven't said anything myself lol.

    Thanks!

Great win for the Bulldogs last night!

What's your perspective on Frawley's performance as a Bulldogs' fan?

Yep go the doggies. Frawley looked really good & his kicking game was a dramatic improvement to what Mbye offers. However Des will just probably bring Mbye straight back in next week & drop Frawley. I wouldn't as I believe you reward those players selected if the team wins but Mbye has to be in there somewhere.

so I'm off to Vietnam and Thaliand in a couple of weeks for a fortnight.
How do you get free stuff thrown in with your hotel? What are your experiences in Hoi An? Phuket?

I really just love getting free shit like complimentary massages, free cocktails etc haha.

not sure how much NRL I'm gonna be able to watch while over there unfortunately. Sad

I'm inclined to play him. High on confidence after last week. I'm expecting 35-40 from him.

When i was in Vietnam a couple of years ago NRL was easily found. Pubs were just playing livestream on big screens in Saigon. Hoi An is a lot smaller, I didn't stay there but we visited there a couple of times (stayed in DaNang, about 40 min scooter ride away). If you want a real nice tailored suit go to Mr Xe https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mr-Xe/256113651095515

Don't really know about free stuff but everything over there was super cheap anyway, it hardly feels like you need to get anything extra for free. The locals I encountered were such nice people.

We've got three nights in Hoi An and four nights in Da Nang. Both look great to me. Lots of awesome looking restaurants and bars + some quality beach times and hikes in the mountains.

Will check out Mr Xe. Cheers.

    Hey Peeps

Am I right in trading out KBromwich for CHN, rather than Yates?

I prefer KBrom in my 17, but I realised even if I don't trade him out this week he's going to be on the chopping block for an upgrade pretty soon. And Yates still has some cash to make, so might as well keep him and throw him into the 17 for a couple of weeks?

Ah awesome. Da Nang was my favourite spot as its just real chilled (at least at the time I was there it was, dont know if its changed much), and was free from people pestering you to buy stuff like in hoi an and saigon. Had the friendliest people i've ever come across. My scooter broke down half way up a mountain and some random locals helped me get it to a "bush mechanic" and they fixed it on the spot all while giving me beers and watermelon. In the end I gave them double what they asked for once it was fixed (which was only about $50 AU) and they were over the moon. We made friends with some other randoms at a local pub over a couple of nights and they ended up inviting us back to their house for post pub drinks at about 3am and cooking up a big feast, pouring us endless vodka, etc. Most people in DaNang didn't really speak any english but it was never difficult to communicate. Everyone is always smiling.

    Sorry to derail thread.

    Tommy T for 80!
