@mulvy wrote:Let's say Capewell keeps a spot as a bench forward, playing around with the price predictor, he would need to score on avg 17-18 to hold his value by origin. Too much to ask? He's extremely versatile so any injuries he's right back in you would think and almost certainly plays origin. I'm just trying to make a case because I've currently got hardly any round 12 players.

Edit: Actually come to think of it, if he stays on the bench he could lose value and would be a good pick up later on before origin. Carry on

not much point having him if all he does is hold his current value.

may be handy at origin time but thats a long way off at this stage.

This Tyrone May idea has merit. It would be my only red dot in the forwards or halves. And depending on when and where cash cows pop up he could be moved between the 2RF and HLF. Very tempting although I'd really like to try and get someone who will play during origin.

Further to this, Cartwright will be dirt cheap soon, could be a good 18/19th man to float between forwards and halves as cover with dpp swap with May. I think I'm talking myself into it.

    Rolling Laugh

That rivals Honeysett from last year who only had a handful of players for one of the bye rounds.

So turns out my reading skills aren't up to scratch. But fuck, who ever chose those words needs to have a good hard look at them selves. tell us how many players we have, not how many we don't have.

Round 12 "you have 17 players on a Bye this Round"
Round 13 "you have 2 players on a Bye this Round"
Round 15 "you have 11 players on a Bye this Round"
Round 16 "you have 1 players on a Bye this Round"
Round 18 "you have 12 players on a Bye this Round"
Round 19 "you have 7 players on a Bye this Round"

Who is more likely to hold their price or even better rise in value over the next month or so.

    Musgrove or Sironen?

I lost in my H2H against WL by 19 points in L51 last week, this week I'm up against him in 3 other leagues... I'm ready for battle...

Also this week I'm facing of against the one and only @Random in L51

League 51 dropped a few spots in the league overal ranking this week... sitting on 33 Sad
Hopefully we can gain some ground this week (Less partying, more winning)

What does the rest of you squad look like if you are leaving 4 of these guys out? I'm playing Jacks and Yates but don't really have any other options from Elgey, Frankenstein, Suli, Moga, Kelly, TRD and Leota and Papalii not even playing.
Probably a by product of no Brailey.

    My team for the week

    Smith, McInnes
    Fifita, AFB
    McGuire, Wallace, Faufusi, Smat, Yates
    Norman, Johnson, Jacks
    DWalker, Cotric
    Turbo, RTS, Ponga

Hoping to crack the 800 this week. Now who to captain? Has to be Smith I guess given he could kick a few goals against the Tigers.

My squad for this week is as follows..

    HOK: C. McInnes (J. Brailey)
    FRF: A. Fifita, F. Kaufusi (Z. Musgrove, P. Kaufusi)
    2RF: J. de Belin, S. Burgess, S. Mata'utia (K. Bromwich, C. Sironen, L. Yates)
    HLF: C. Norman, B. Lamb (K. Elgey, R. Jacks)
    CTR: B. Kelly, N. Cotric (T. Moga, R. Jennings)
    WFB: B. French, R. Tuivasa-Scheck, B. Slater (J. Hayne, M. Suli)
    Reserves: K. Bromwich, C. Sironen, J. Brailey, R. Jacks
    Cash Remaining: $154 000

    Current Plans:
    Next week

    Option 1:
    - E. Whitehead should be coming into the team for 1 of my CTR options. (I should have enough to go M. Suli, T. Moga, B. Kelly to E. Whitehead via S. Mata'utia)
    - Cash out anyone else who may have peaked i.e.  Z. Musgrove, K. Bromwich, C. Sironen.

    Option 2:
    - If J. Bromwich/B. Thompson look to have bottomed out, then instead of trading my CTRs I trade 2 of K. Bromwich, C. Sironen, Z. Musgrove to J. Bromwich/B. Thompson + E. Whitehead (However I would need a $32 000 swing between the two trading out, and the two coming in.)
