I took a nice little chunk of that, big over imo. Every single year its the same old story with the warriors and every year they win sweet fuck all until they play origin depleted teams.

Depends what day it is Barrett will have a different reply

Koro is great value, will play close to 80 and if he does get a spell it will be a short one from L Brown, only danger is if Hastings can worm his way into the 17 down the track

Been tossing up about McInnes again. His 80 minute stats are irresistible almost but don't like the look of the rest of my team without it even though few changes are made. What would be better

    JDB + Brailey
    or
McInnes + F Kaufusi or Talakai (Would shift SMat to 2RF for that)

If he completely bombs in rd 1, you could always downgrade a player in the following games before lockout to free up cash to upgrade Brailey the following week, therefore costing you the one trade instead of two. Thoughts?
It not a bad idea but would depend on why he bombed. Jumping off only to see him start scoring 50's in RD2 would hurt

After looking into a bit of planning. for the first few rounds, ive decide that starting with Smith Is the best option for my squad.

Brailey not currently sitting in my 17.

After 6 rounds I can evaluate the Cows I've started with, and importantly the ones I've missed.

If there are any injuries in my Rs or fringe players, it is easier to down grade one of them and upgrading Brailey (who surely will make money in the first 6 rounds) to someone like Farah or Mcinnes.

This also gives you time to sus out who the second best hooking option to close out the season is etc.

If I go Mcinnies or Farah, there are two outcomes.

    A) they suck and I need to replace them (costing many many trades and likely reshuffle of entire squad to end up with two gun hookers by end of year)
B)They don't suck, but I need to harvest 350/400k to upgrade Brailey to Smith. That's assuming he has 100k+ of growth before you need to turf him.

All I see now when running with out smith is risk and trade rage.

    That will not be happening.

Teams have to be listed in 1-17 playing/position order and then the additional players in 18-21.

I think Hastings plays a role at Manly when fit.

Koro isn't that great at hooker anyway.

I'd been strongly considering Moses - but I think I might have to look elsewhere with his injury.

But there will be no penalty for shifting players 18-21 into the starting lineup before kickoff.

What won't be allowed is bringing in players not named on Tuesday. So say Valentine Holmes/Jarryd Hayne/someone is not named today. Then according to the new rules they will not be allowed to play in the weekend (without special exemption from the NRL -we don't know how hard/easy it will be to get this)
So most coaches will have to name in the 21 any player that is even a slight chance of taking the field.

    Good pickup ST

    Its just Chrome auto complete.

I just type '20' into the thread title and then just go to the auto completed thread name and change the number at the end.
Google is just keeping a long history of previous threads I have created

Moses is one of the few who hasn't left my team all preseason. Do you think a bone bruise is that serious?

What's the time frame on that @SI

I think special exemption will be easy to obtain for any/every situation where a player gets injured between TLTa nd game day, but it will ONLY be ok'd by the NRL if its a lower quality player coming in as replacement, eg a reserve hooker/half/whatever.

So for example, Shaun Johnson gets injured in thursdays training. There is no way it would be an expectation that teams would have a replacement half in their named 21. The NRL would have no problem allowing Mason Lino to replace SJ in that case.

Coaches would most definitely name a replacement half in their 21 if a key player was under an injury cloud on TLT though.
