    @Boozecluez The reason I don't like Elgey inside the starting slot is, it generally means your team is way less flexible. Because as a reserve you most likely have other options and it is far easier to play those other options over him if he flops. I personally, wont start with Elgey even inside my 17 at this stage.

    @Bren Don't have shit teams then.

    So a 200k + NPR

    To me if you select him in your team you are backing him to score ok.
    Meaning the starting spot he is taking $$$ could be instead spent on say a 2RF with more upside.

    Would you feel better playing him hypothetically if you had say Walker/Gutherson at WFB and a DPP NPR in the halves who could move up to halves in an emergency?

    - Sounds like Thompson will play, from the bench. He said he could of played 2 weeks ago.
    - Johnson says he is injury free and ready to play

    I think if you have a viable way to have another option then it would be a good idea incase. Personally I don't like Walker or Gutherson that much but it could pay off to make up for having Elgey stuck inside your 17 for a prolonged period. Also while I say this, I am putting myself in the same situation as I will be forced to play one of Brailey/Pritchard. So it isn't all bad.

    If Clark is the one to make way for Thompson. How secure does that make Papalii's spot in the team? Any news re Matulino and what is happening with him?
