wow, just about every one of those cows players is a regular first grade player.

Totally different sort of side to the raiders who have only sent 2 first grade players.

Thats a pathetic team to send really, easily the worst one I have seen so far

I hope this doesn't surprise you, since the first year this is how we have treated the 9's - We meet the minimum requirements and hope it provides as little disruption as possible. I'm not in love with what we do, but I won't knock Ricky for what he's been able to do to the club in such a short time so if this is part of it, so be it. Although you are being far too harsh on the side; it won't win the comp but I'd wager on it surprising you in its performance. Keen to see Roache, Cotric, Naden, Cronan, Aiono and even Sorensen. Will also be nice to see how Turner goes.

just because its whats always happened doesnt mean its not pathetic.
The only regular starters he has named, are sezer and austin. Basically every single other team has named like 5 or more. Some have named heaps.

What I dont understand, is both these guys are injury prone as fuck - why risk your starting halves???? Send someone who isnt essential to the side like Edrick Lee etc.

The team will be terrible and it will come last in its pool

I'll happily put a two week avatar bet on them finishing higher than last, even in a pool with Cowboys, Roosters and Rabbits (Which at a glance i think is possibly the strongest pool).
Btw, you keep leaving off Bateman when you talk about regular starters and we probably would have sent Baptiste over except he is injured so one of Turner/Clydesdale should be considered the equivalent as they will more than likely take his place to start the season (unless its LCroker or Ricky runs with 4 forwards in which case Lima will probably be in the 17).

There are plenty of shit teams named (I mean, Knights could name the entire 17, just because they are 'regular starters' won't make it a gun team) especially when you consider that naming big players doesn't mean they see much time.

I guess I just don't understand why you seem so angry about it...

If that's not to your liking we can change the avatar bet to 2 weeks that the Raiders win more games at the tournament than the Knights? I'll let you take your pick of which is more favourable, I'm just happy to kick off the Avatar betting season

why brings the knights into it? I never said they had a good side? spot on most of their players wouldnt make any other side but At least brown sent some guys that actually play first grade. even so, the knights are hardly the yardstick.

if your argument is - you dont need regular first grade players to win or be successful at the 9's - then the bet should be - the raiders will finish higher than the cowboys in the pool, considering the amount of first grade regulars that green has sent.

in saying that - ive never made an online bet with a stranger on a forum, and I dont really plan on starting now
