Considering Parker's charge carried 250 points reduced to 125 with the early guilty plea and 8 year clean record discount, imagine what Gallen would have got with his history.

I only just saw it then and I know I see things with maroon coloured glasses at times....but I didn't think it was that bad to be honest.

He came in from the angle so I would probably give the bloke the benefit of the doubt (particularly when he is a known cleanskin) that he was trying to flop onto Tedesco and accidentally skimmed his chin.

    Penalty at worst.

    Can't believe Inglis' charge though.
Fuck that is pitiful and it wasn't even a shoulder charge FFS.
Honestly the game needs to sort that shit out.
They are in no way mitigating the risks of these incidental injuries occurring and quite frankly I am sick of the hypocritical way in which they scream blue murder when a contracted player wants to leave for another code......when on the other hand they rub out their star players at the same time.

Clean skin is rubbish. Billy Slater is technically a clean skin. Rubbish.

i know inglis ended up breaking duges jaw but him bracing for contact is worth 3 then Feldt's off the ball, intentional, strait to the head shot on croker is legitimately worth a season

the biggest problem with the judiciary system is that everyone gets the same punishment

we should just be regularly fining players for minor infringements, giving them a week if they get 3 fines in a certain period of time(say 12 months)

then come down hard on tackles that really deserve it (tapau on bird, thaiday on gal and feldt on croker are more obvious examples for this season)

instead, those 3 bad one's got 1, 2 and 3 weeks respectively. which is basically the same as some guys are getting a couple of nothing offenses

Slater is one of the cleanest players to play the game.

But just like Cam Smith, he is a victim of tall poppy syndrome, which is pretty understandable given their achievements.........but still completely pathetic.

As I said it wasn't a shoulder charge and thus is a very fucking ordinary decision.

It's getting to the point where if a bloke were to break his jaw illegally running into the shoulder of another player (i.e. in an obstruction play or to take them out of play in a chase), the MRC/judiciary would automatically assume it was a shoulder charge and react by banning the poor bastard that wasn't doing anything wrong.

Inglis missing 3 weeks is an embarrassment to the game

Geez, I thought we liked to lay the boot into the selections. This coming from a NSW reporter:

did corey parker really have a sook about gallen kicking the goal ?? he is as precious as they come with an incredibly short memory at times

So people think Parker having words to Moloney when Gallen was about to take the kick was him having a sook about the kick. Apparently it was more about this:

Its not really all that different to Cooper throwing the ball in Moylans face after he scored.
Both teams are as bad as each other with niggly shit.

When was the last time QLD walked away while the Australian Captain was making a speech? Disrespectful and just goes to show the culture that NSW have at the moment.

Even Thurston and Walters said it was disappointing and disrespectful. That's enough for me.

The qld blokes were all laughing amongst each other when Gallen was doing his speech, same with when smith was doing his.
What about when the QLD blokes were singing the QLD song when the aus team won. Thats pretty disrespectful towards all the NSW blokes in the team.

Its slightly rude, but geez its been blown up out of proportion.
