Two of the best players to bring in this week in regards price v potential.  I have Mannering but can't bring SJ in till after byes.  Looks like you could keep MBye (he has been disappointing but not terrible) and still bring in SJ for one of your plodder halves?  Or do you want to keep a healthy bank?

The bank was initially slated as upgrade funds for Parcell to Friend, but that gap is shrinking on it's own. I never really thought of keeping M'bye and upgrading a noob, but that is a solid option. I could also use Barba or Mitchell I guess, although I've enjoyed the versality back there. Hmm

Out of those 3 I would keep Barba.

Thing is, it looks like you are going to have 1 hooker/1 prop/1 second rower as your final team reserves at the moment.  So who is your 17th and 18th men if you do that cash on Parcell to Friend?  Mitchell becomes your 17th at this stage?  If that is how it is panning out, then I can't help but think you could wait a few weeks and see what happens with Friend's average.  If you still want him then maybe fuck MBye off then for the cash?  By that stage the difference between Parcell and Friend could be less than 100k anyway?  In the meantime you get to have 3 solid halves instead of 2.

    Friend BE of 92
    Parcell BE of 37
There's only 130k between them at the moment.

Pretty sure you can do Feeney to SJ and Bateman to Mannering as it stands?

That leaves you no bank but gives you an extra decent scoring player for the next few weeks as you will have 3 solid halves.  Then you can make a decision on Parcell to Friend by Round 18 which is before Parcell's last bye but after Friend's last bye?  That allows the gap to close even more between them.

In fact going on projections the difference between Parcell and Friend will be less than 100k after this round. Factor in tat Friends 3 round average is actually lower then Parcell's, there could be as little as 50k between them soon. Would personally put it at 70k in a couple of rounds but who knows.

I despise this time of year. I want to make trades and get better players, but then I want to have trades left at the end.

So very annoying and oh my team value finally hit 9.1mil, hehe milestone I think.

I mean it might turn out that Parcell is a keeper, which I'm not fully averse to. Back to your previous post though, my original plan was to downgrade one of those 4 backs and end up with HKR and 3xFRF/2RF as my reserves with probably a half as 18th man but I have not been able to pick who to downgrade, especially since it's been handy having 4 through all these injuries (which thankfully haven't happened at the same time). I guess I'll have to try a few things and see what results I can get. Time for a spreadsheet lol

All gossip, but over here in England am hearing Zak Hardaker to Penrith in the next couple of weeks. Which would mean Moylan to 5/8th (unless they play Hardaker centre/wing to settle him in) which would mean what for Cleary?

Soward or Segeyaro - more likely Soward tbh, you'd think Sege would stay in the NRL - rumoured to be going to Leeds in part-exchange. So I guess it actually makes Cleary more secure, with Carty moving back to pack?

Feeney has been shit this year but his dpp has actually allowed me to trade in good halfs and good wfbs.
He is now gone for cleary and I thank him for ....... Umm being able to swap his shitness around to get better players in.

On another note. Flying to brisbane for Thursday nights game... Go raiders!!!!!

Is Littlejohn any chance of making a reappearance? If Moses or Brooks get injured, would he be next cab off the rank? Been holding him all year, but thinking it might be time to cash him in rather than say Feeney? That extra $16k might come in handy...

Don't think it's Talakai. Played 27 minutes for 26 points. Made 2 tackles. Scored a try..

    My team:

    Parcell IDG
    J Graham J Brom McGuire D Saifiti
Mannering Carty Burgess Taylor Paulix2 Michael Chee Kam
    DCE Milf J Niko Lamb
    Aitken Roberts Lolo Scott
    Semi Munster Mitchell Gordon Eden

This is my first time playing and am going a bit shit.

    17k itb and 12 trades.

Thinking Gordon to French and Lamb to Cleary this week.

Mitchell to Tedesco after Rnd 15 assuming he doesn't look like playing origin. Then I can go Saifiti/Pauli into a cheapie and a keeper post origin and IDG in CS9... Will need to cash out one of Cleary Lamb Lolo to do that probably.

That'd give me about five trades left post origin but pretty shitty depth, especially in the backs. Any advice?

    I have:
    Hodgson Parcell
    J-Brom Graham Tolman Kaufusi
    Surgess ET JTrbo Taupau Asiata
    Hastings Norman Cleary Hughes
    Crooker Holland Gutherson Scott
    Semi Barba Mitchell Wighton Bowen

    Any thoughts?

    Currently have:
    Wighton > Munster
    Holland > Aitken
2 good upgrades and good timing in terms of BEs and Byes

Or should I consider Lolo instead as a POD?? Same bye coverage but would give me an extra 100k to play with.

Also, is JWH an option for Tolman? OR too sideways? He would work well in terms of Byes - I'm currently thinking of waiting 1 more week and bringing him in for round 15 (if at all).

EDIT: My halves are shit I know, but if I get lucky then Hastings and Norman + Clearly (and Hughes) can get me through the bye period with at least 2 halves per round and then I can sort that out after, hopefully when I have a bit more cash!

Hmmm got a dilemma with what to do in my halves and wfb.
I can trade feeney > cleary and keep dce until his injury passes as my sole trade this week.
Or I can trade dce > johnson and barba > tedesco and be happy being one step away from my final team.
