Haha nah I think you're sweet, its lead to a whole new world of procrastination at work, reading through discussion about it and how many people used it just as a common insult, much like Alfalfa actually. Can't say I had any idea myself (legitimately thought you were calling me the plant and was trying to figure out if it was an extension of "pot plant") and I think intent is everything in these things. I Also feel like perhaps I need to re-watch the little rascals now

Fifita's form is just too good to pass up but having Walker in over Friz makes me feel sick.

Ons positive note, you wouldn't have got sick until you saw number 14 in the team list. In the past you've generally been sick after seeing number 7.

Number 7 is still making me a little queasy. Reynolds is only any good when his forwards are dominating and it's been a while since the QLD pack have been on the receiving end of a hiding.

the more i think about it, the less i care about the walker selection

don't get me wrong, there is quite a few players i'd rather there but

we've picked 3 middle forwards on the bench, there is gonna be 6 interchanges getting them on and then back off in the second half

that leaves 2 changes for either giving an edge an early mark, bringing walker on late, replacement for an injury or bringing back a bench forward for a second stint late

walker will either be thrown in late in the game to try and take advantage of tired players, replace an injured back or doesn't see the field. as others have said, his selection won't lose us the game.

i don't think frizzell is a glaring omission, was pretty poor untill a big last few weeks and alot of his good moments came in the middle, we've picked 6 middle players that are all gonna be suited to our game plan and i think both edge players will play the big minute role required better then frizz. admittedly i've never been a huge frizz fan.

but i'm sure he will play a part in the series. he can play both edge/middle, origin history shows us that there is a good chance atleast one of the 7 forwards picked will miss a game through injury or suspension and i'd says he is odds on to replace them regardless of who it is

I fly in at 5pm, so I'll be dropping my bags off @ our World Square apartments and then heading to the Shed before the game for some beers and then head in. Then we usually get a bottle of American Honey and either watch the replay (if we win) or talk about how we could have won. Happy to catch up for a beer pregame if you want to grab a drink
