    Incorrect.

Taking on any and all Queens who want the bet, you can collectively choose my avatar for rest of NRL season if QLD win the series

You do however have to pucker up Laughing

    Hey Welshy,
If Whitehead scores more then Frizell this week Ill run with the NSW Blues logo as my avatar for a week, if Frizell scores more then Whitehead you run with the QLD Maroons logo as your avatar for a week.

    Interested?

I'l take that though, Friz has to play the full 80 though if he gets rested for origin purposes then no deal haha

Frizell only played 61 mins and still scored more then Whitehead Laughing

Looks like a tally of how many times NSW has won in recent history. Leave the best QLD victory till last

Each to their own mate. JT is a hell of a player. I just think Joey pushed boundaries of what a halfback can do. I'd love to see them both in their prime against each other, especially in the Origin arena.

    Joey and JT both guns.

Neither a better halfback than Alf though.

Is it in another thread? I remember reading it and thinking it was strange and now I can't see it either.

have found it now, genuinely thought I had backed the Friz which is why I also added the 80 minute stipulation because he has only been playing 60 lately, technically that vetoes any deal but il wear the badge until after origin 1

    Exactly.

And on that note, I bet Greenbog wishes he had the sort of powers that Arko and Quayle had back then and could enforce rules to contain the Broncos like they did.

100% on the first two but I don't remember Langer ever striking at the play the ball that much. From what I remember Elias did it a fair bit and Ian Roberts perfected the art of doing it while standing to the side of the tackled player. From what I remember it was brought in at the same time as eliminating the tapping it when there is no marker because that was more contenious as players were getting up off the ground quicker and going to marker as they were taking the tap and the penalties were becoming 50/50.
