a field goal in the last 30 seconds actually would have been a smart play as it would have stopped the clock to give them a chance for a Hail Mary try. If they scored the try the clock keeps running until after the conversion, so there would have been no time to restart the game (unless they forfeited the goal attempt and tried to go for 2 tries.

I know it has no bearing in the result but both the raiders and the eels are guilty of abusing the head bin rule, fpn came off at the 18th minute mark normally he would be replaced at that point, an dandy Raymond said although it's a head knock he is limping,
Moeroea the same thing, both miraculously come back on father their 'check up'.

I call bullshit on both and it is the players being encouraged to stay down and get the free interchange

Yeah, the FPN one seemed dodgy, didn't see what happened to Moeroea.

There's no doubt in my mind that this happens nearly every game. It was always going to be exploited.

The trouble is how do you fix it? Do you charge them an interchange and then if they have none left at the end of the game they play with 12? Or do you allow clubs to do it?

Was it lg or Dip talking Rapana up lately? Bloke has been great again today as a winger in a losing team.

Yeah as I said the other week, I never rated him whatsoever.....like not even a little bit.....and can't believe the improvement the bloke has shown.

Went to PBC (on the Goldy) too, so surely we can get him to 'dutch In Zid' and become a QLDer

The Sharks crowd are fantastic. Really vocal and in good numbers. I reckon it's got something to do with how the players stick around after a game and the crowd are allowed on the field
