Well what's a good series for me to get into now? I've only had Netflix for a few months and so far I've finished SoA, Narcos, Luke Cage(mediocre), Daredevil and I'm watching Shooter week to week.

I hear good things about House of Cards but seems a little slow and boring

Best thing about Luke Cage was the soundtrack! So good.

If you haven't yet mate, watch Peaky Blinders. Was awesome. I've just started Iron Fist, seems to be ok so far.

As a side note, I've just ordered my IPTV box (finally) so am looking forward to having other options than just Netflix.

Other things... House of Cards and Suits. A lot of people rave about stranger things but I'm struggling with it big time.

Let me know how you go with Iron Fist after a few episodes I might jump on board. I am a sucker for Marvel comics

Finished Fargo S1 and thought it was just okay. Almost didn't start S2 but now after 3 eps-wow! Completely different but still holding the common thread. Awesome stuff.

I only found out today that Justin Pierce aka 'Casper' from that 1995 classic film 'Kids' died in 2000. Suicide.

Saw Ghost in the Shell today, absolutely loved it. Remined me quite a bit of Blade Runner.

What did people think of the Walking Dead finale?

    Spoiler:

The final gun fight just rubbed me a bit the wrong way.

There were armed garbage people everywhere n Alexandria, yet they hardly seemed to even fire a shot, and were just disarmed stupidly easily.
And Rick and Carl were in basically in open air in the middle of a gun fight yet pretty much never seemed in danger of anything actually happening to them.

I will still watch for the overall story, but so many things piss me off on this show

    Hope the spoiler works....

    Spoiler:

Im not gunna stop watching but the whole season has waned for me, i assumed we would see a few episodes of war type conflict. Not just one.
I know what u mean, but choosing to have that coffin display on a trailer etc meant they were stuck with an audience type surrounding and everyone squashed. Easiest result would have been Dwight (right behind Negan) shooting Negan but thats to easy.
One of the worst seasons imo, aside from eppy 1.

Definitely shouldn't have gone to Canada and the US, after netflixing over there the Aus version is like a G rated skin flick.

I have done all the usual stuff (Walking Dead, GOT, Vikings etc). Currently just finished the first of three season of Black Sails (which is bloody brilliant I might add) and needing to get myself set for the next offering! Anyone got some opinions?

    Stephen Kings ?

Started watching Bloodline, for anyone who has run through most other series. Seems very good.

    Yes.

Similar to the TV remake of the Shinning, the original was good, but it wasn't the book and glad that someone had the balls to remake it true to its roots. While I enjoyed the original IT, this is suppose to be darker and more aligned with the book. Less clown more monster.

    Bring it on.
