Really hoping Barba named FB for this team to work
Otherwise will have to downgrade Merrin to Cartwright or Inglis to Ferguson.  Either will give me the spare cash to turn Rochow to Whitehead.
    Oh, you don't care?
Just thought since you boys were all into fantasy, that you would be interested in seeing the 2016 NRL Fantasy championship starting side. My mistake....

Think many of us are praying for Barba at TLW mate.

personally id go rochow to carty and claw or inglis downgrade. Think they could net the same points with a bigger upside.

I consider Aubusson as someone who will score well over the first 10 rds until Cordner comes back. I don't like the pick based on history to get moved around and totally stuff up his scoring; but it feels more stable atm (feels wrong typing that). He won't be a keeper though. So I'm treating him as a 2RF - would he be worth it as a mid price option in that slot? Quite possibly.

CLaw I am not so sure on. Think he scored well in the back row, I do believe Aubusson has greater potential (might be wrong), but is cheaper.

However I do feel CTR is the position is where you can get away with basement priced picks on ground. Of course it depends on how many of these picks you can find that seem like they could score ok and have good JS.

In short I think BOTH of Aubo/CLaw is a bit much, but 1 is fine.

I'm down to picking 2 from LAM Sue Cartwright SST. Currently have LAM and SST.

    Any thoughts?

Does anyone else here think Aubo is a no brainer for the first 7-10 weeks in the centres? Should be the highest scoring centre over this period as long as there aint numerous mid game injuries to backs!!!! I am willing to take the risk!

I think L Brown is priced about right, he aint a keeper, he aint going to make quick money coming back from injury and no trials so don't see him playing 80 for the first month.

On Chris Lawrence, there wasn't much of a period where Lawrence, Sironen and Lovett were all fit and seen as second rowers and named in the 17.

Im not sure whether Claw is more likely to play around 60 minutes, Sironen 80 and Lovett about 40 (half lock, half second row). I am steering clear of Claw because I think he needs 80 to improve his average.

If Merrin moves to prop then I reckon Carty gets the 80 minutes where his avg. sky rockets, Griffin played both second rowers 80 when he was back at the Donkeys so a decent Omen, SST should get around 50-60 minutes with that depleted Roosters pack where his avg also goes higher! All decent options but Carty has the most potential
Out of him and SST I think and is also cheaper

Will Jake Friend benefit much from no Pearce?
He would surely get extra kms and there won't be a bench hooker, will there?

I am considering him if Pearce is out for a fair while

I have LAM and Cartwright. Part of the reason is that I already have Woods and already have a load of Roosters.
Second I think Cartwright has most potential to increase his minutes and become a gun playing 80 on the right with L Brown leaving.
LAM is at a good price if he can play 50 minutes which I think is possible considering Packer will only go for 40 and LAM is of a different mould to the other middle forwards eg JDB, Mooper, Creagh, Dunamis Lui
SST was outplayed by the other roosters lock in world club challenge and is probably more of trade target around origin for me given he will prob take a larger role at 2rf.

indications from trials are that Ian Henderson might be bench hooker, so watch for TLW. Friend is well capable of playing the 80, however might closer to 60m mark if bench hooker is there.

Friend averaged 67 km per game last year. he might take a bit more kick responsibility for getting out of their own half, but probably not on the attacked end (Hastings looks like to the go for this) so maybe only 2-3 pts more from kicks at a stretch

Who will take on the main goal-kicking duties at the rooster this season? Hastings?

I don't see SST getting any more minutes than last year. If he gets 50-60 then I'll pick him, but I can see him and Liu sharing the position in the same way as last year.

Think he had 45-50 minutes in the WCC but then again Kane Evans got 50+ didn't he? Can't he him sustaining that in the NRL? much better as an impact sub playing 40 I think, my thought was that Lui would spend some time at prop opening up more lock minutes for SST
