Auva'a costing only 139k for a starting centre makes him a must have for me. Not seeing the fuss around Chee Kam personally. I mean maybe I missed some pre-season statement where he really impressed at training but don't think he'll have good job security on the bench. Even with Halatau suspended he has a lot of people to compete with for a spot and that's not discounting the possibility that they run with Cherrington/Ballin to swap with Farah.

Sure it's been said that MCK is first in line for Lawrences vacated centre spot?

What's the general opinion around Slater as a fantasy prospect this year? I've seen him in a few people's teams and the reasoning is mostly he had a quiet year last year and should get some good attacking scores with an 'easy' draw to start the year.
I wasn't entirely convinced by it but when I think about this is the first full pre-season Slater would have had in years. He'd feel plenty refreshed and he'll want to get back to his try-scoring best so he does have a very good chance of producing those attacking scores early on. I'm considering replacing Ferguson with him at the moment.

Simona and either Naqaiama or Naofoaluma will surely take up the two centre spots and play over Chee Kam. I also hear the Tigers highly rate Jordan Rankin to play in the centre spot and even kick the goals this year. Haven't heard anything about Chee Kam being the one to play centre but oh well I'll put him in if he does.

The more people talk about him the more I think about getting him in as well.

I think Fergy is going to bomb at FB but not in the fantasy sense. I can see him being shifted by round 6.

I thought it was Rankin/Addo-Carr/Hunt that were going to pick up a spot in the backline. At this stage MCK is a 2RF I thought. I also think it is unlikely he squeezes on the Bench for the Tigers.

I think a lot of Tigers fans WANT to see Chee Kam in the Centres, me included. But I think he will be on the bench. There was some reasonable mail around the traps a week or so ago that he would not start the year in first grade. That would be a mistake as we have pretty much the worst backrow in the comp attack wise; need that bit of spark that he can provide in my opinion.

He is in my side at the moment for exactly the reasons you said. I remember 2 or 3 years back, didn't Slater started the year with 3 doubles in the first 3 games. I'd like him to do that again?

For all the clubs who name a bench hooker in Round 1, with only 8 interchanges now, if they replace the 2 props and hooker and bring them all back, only leaves 2 interchanges left for injuries and fatigue.
Do you think the coaches will keep those 2 changes up their sleeves till abt the 70th minute in case of injury or fatigue or only keep 1 till then?
If they keep the 2, then the 2nd rowers and locks will all play the first 70 minutes at least before being considered replacing and if other players are more fatigued, then they play 80.
    What will they do ?????
