Honestly, if Croker and Leilua keep up this form - they HAVE to be the centres for NSW next year. Holy shit they have both have had outstanding years.

So where does everyone think the Blues should play Hayne next year?  Absolutely wasted on the wing, but MUST be in the side, so does Teddy get shifted or does Hayne play elsewhere?  I just think in the centres or 6 restricts his brilliance and possible match winning impact on the game.

    Thoughts?

I really have no idea. At FB he excels and once there won us a series - however you can't push Teddy aside either. I'd put Hayne on the wing in defense and let him roam in attack via the centres.

I would like to see him playing 1, but due to his versatility and the fact that we dont have a 6 and we have a pretty fucking good 1 in Tedesco, I think he will get picked at 6.

I wouldnt hate it if Hayne is picked at fullback, with tedesco on the wing and moylan at 6.
I dont see them picking Moylan over hayne at 6 tho.

The time is almost near where NSW string a few years together. Not just yet but slowly approaching.

Didn't Hayne kill it at center the last few times he played for the Kangaroos??
    I vote he plays there.

    He did.
He also killed it on the wing and at fullback.

See how he goes at fullback between now and origin. If he goes as I expect him too he has to be fullback. If Teddy is not injured and keeps up his firm (which I expect will not be as good as Hayne), he's either playing for a wing spot, or will be unlucky.

Going to be sad for him if he doesn't deliver at Origin. Not sure if he's got any unfulfilled dreams left by now?

Ryan James is 100% in my NSW team next season, hes been brilliant this year. A good mix of skill, toughness and cunt. Can play back or front row.

He is in there for Tamou, Greg Bird, Gallen or Fifita IMO.

i thought ryan james went missing big time on friday, scored a fluke try but whenever there was a big run to be made it was luke douglas or greg bird

but he had a big year and similar form will see him in the frame

Josh Jackson voted by his fellow origin players as our player of the series but he shouldn't be there.....

Yeah I agree he didn't have a great game on Friday.

He has been superb this season though and I'd pick him ahead of a few others (long way to go mind you).

Speaking of Luke Douglas, I've watched most of the Titans games this season and he's been really bloody impressive.

i used to really rate douglas when he burst on the scene, never really went on to higher levels but probably in that tier just below rep forwards for a decade now

always been a consistent performer week to week as well

The Douglas/Snowden bookend combo was pretty awesome in the day.  They made way for another fairly decent prop though!

He prob shouldnt have been, but he defended well thats for sure.
Did he do enough to retain his position? Definitely.

Shame the 2 of them had to get away from Dank/the Sharks and whatever he was (alledgedly) giving them.

So Sterlo has taken Fulton's position with NSW. Advisor role. Not sure what that means, but thank fuck fulton is gone. Bye bye horrible left field Manly selections.

I always liked sterlo's comments, so happy to see him actually doing something in a footy role instead of just commenting on and criticising people.

So Sterlo reckons Pearce would be a contender for Capt if he makes next years team.
