Brisbane Broncos made the Grand Final and nearly won. Brisbane Heat just beat the best lineup in the BBL.

I think you just stepped in your own shit moo cow.

Nearly winning something, and not being so terrible that you lose every game of the season.

My what lofty heights you have reached

Only first and last count. Anywhere in between is irrelevant. 2nd is no different to 15th in the record books.

I disagree. Consecutive years of a team being in the bottom 8 compared to being inside the top 8 will definitely have a lasting impression. Saying there is no difference between 2nd and 15th usually comes from fans of struggling clubs such as yourself to justify their shit performance over a number of years.

97 and 2001 are the only years that matter for me as a Knights fan because that's the year we won the premiership. Years we've finished in the top 4 but haven't won I wouldn't even remember because it's nothing to look back on

Well considering NSW lost for so long Im not surprised you have opted to block those years of torture out of your memory as a coping mechanism.

Disagree - most people remember the grand finalists.

They might remember them but it doesn't matter if you come second, it doesn't mean anything.

So why do they give out silver medals at the Olympics?

Without looking it up can you please tell me who won Silver when Cathy Freeman won the gold at the 2000 Olympic games?
